Gaialoop Memory Foam Camping Mattress, 3 Inch Roll Up Sleeping Pad

Purchased for camping with my kids. So far, we’ve only used it in the back yard, but we loved it. We all agree we sleep better outside than we do inside! The queen size camping pad is perfect for the three of us. It fit easily in a 4 person tent with room to spare. The thickness made it super comfortable - I didn’t feel the ground even when sleeping on my side, which is usually a problem for me. It is easy to set up and use with a set of sheets. We do keep ours stored in the case, but the camping pad unrolls easily and the curled end flattened within a day or so. Not a complaint but the size is a trade-off. The camping pad is huge when rolled up. The bag has shoulder straps but the camping pad still touches the ground when I have the straps snugged down all the way. I am only 5’3 so maybe that’s a me problem. It obviously isn’t for backpacking but it’s just so awkward to carry that I’d be reluctant to take it where I have to set up much further than a traditional car camping site. TLDR: I love it & I’d absolutely buy it again.

My boyfriend and I love to go camping and we were so tired of waking up on the hard ground on a deflated air mattress. This camping mattress is so much more comfortable! It’s bigger than expected once you allow it to expand, but it rolls up easily and fits nicely into the carrying bag. We’ve taken it on several trips now with no issues. It’s very good quality for the price, looks nice, seems to be quite durable, and very comfortable to sleep on. It fits great in our tent, and we love not having to inflate our bed. We can just roll it out and go! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an alternative to the traditional air mattress for camping. We’ve also used it as a spare bed in our home for overnight guests (who also gave it a thumbs up for comfort).

Comfortable and I love the color!! Only took roughly 30ish hours to fully inflate and it didn’t have a smell like another brand I had gotten. I really love that you can fold and the clips to keep it together are attached to the mattress itself. It easily fits in the back of my car for car camping!!

I tend to like minimalist bed setups, like tatami mats or very simple bedframe/mattress combos. This pad served me well while I was staying at a friend’s house for a few months while work was being done at my place. The color that was on sale when I got it was the ehhh green, I would have preferred a different one but that’s not super consequential to how it performed. It kept its shape and firmness even though me, as a bigger bodied person, slept on it every night for quite a while. It is pretty narrow as it’s made to be a backpacking mat, but it did the job. Overall it was easy to use and seemed to hold up pretty well.

I love this sleeping pad! Great weight, quality, comfort, folds out easy, rolls up easy with a slight struggle to get it back in the bag which may get easier as I use it more. I can just fold it in half and put it in the corner of the fire lookout tower I’m sleeping in to keep it out of the way during the day on fire watch. I got the 3” inch blue one and it’s plenty thick for me and a really nice color. Pretty nice that it comes with a small portable pillow and a really nice bag. I’m looking forward to throwing it the back of my truck for impromptu use, as well as using it in my tent! I like camping gear A Lot and I have to say I’m quite thrilled with this purchase at a reasonable price! I definitely wanted to keep it small and portable so the length and width are perfect for me. (I’m 5’6”, 140 lbs.). It’s nice it comes in different sizes for larger folks also!

Love these sleeping pads for camping! We bought 2 of these & use them on top of our air mattress & it greatly improves our sleep & comfort! They also keep us warmer than sleeping directly on the air mattress. They are a bit bulky & take up room, but well worth it! Highly recommend!

Horrible! This is the thinest foam I have ever had. If you measure it, it is 2.65 inches thick. Not 3 Inches! It compresses down to .25 inches when you lay on it. About as much comfort as spreading out an old blanket. I waited overnight to see if it would expand. It did not. I came in a box with a hole in it. The Amazon delivery box had no damage. The foam was wrapped in plastic and taped shut. Not sealed. I doubt it's memory foam. This also came with a paper thin pillow filled with some kind of shredded stuff. It's still flat after 36 hours. I don't recommend this at all. Don't waste your money.

It's fine for camping, but transporting and storage is something to consider. They are super bulky and don't roll up nicely. Comfort is decent and what you'd expect.
