No clear indicator on the results and they are flimsy paper tests. Used both the test and still inconclusive. Save your money.

I decided to try these Lactose Intolerance Test Strips out of curiosity since I occasionally have issues after eating dairy. The concept is interesting, an at-home test for possible lactose sensitivity; but I’m still a bit skeptical about how reliable the results really are. The instructions were fairly simple to follow, and the test itself didn’t take long to complete. The strip did show a color change as described in the guide, but it gives you a general idea rather than a clear yes-or-no answer, so not entirely sure if there was a real test result. Having two strips lets you try it more than once, but I wish there was a better guide to how accurate the test is or how to interpret borderline results. It’s an interesting tool if you’re concerned at all about how your body handles lactose, but I’d still take the results with a grain of salt and consult a healthcare professional if lactose intolerance is a real concern.

Lactose intolerance is the inability to fully digest lactose, a sugar found in milk, causing symptoms like bloating, diarrhea, gas, and nausea within 30 minutes to two hours of eating dairy. Caused by a lack of the enzyme lactase in the small intestine. This test checks your poo for the presence of lactase. I ordered this test on March 10, 2026 (received March 12, 2026) and the test expired on January 11, 2026. Attempted to use the test anyway, and received an invalid result. This was somewhat expected due to the test being 60+ days expired. The test procedure is fairly straightforward, but the results slip is difficult to read - we were having difficultly telling if their was a blue line on the wet paper.

habe diesen Test bei meiner Frau (100% Laktoseunverträglichkeit) und mir (Verdachtsfall) angewandt. Bei beiden Tests fiel der Test negativ aus.. sprich keine Laktoseunverträglichkeit Eine Untersuchung beim Arzt ergab genau das Gegenteil. Daher.. dieser Test taugt nichts!!

Teststreifen sieht etwas billig aus (keine Plastikhülle rundherum, aber dies ist auch nicht nötig und umweltschonend). Die Interpretation der Ergebnisse kann im Grenzbereich zwischen zu wenig und knapp genug Lactaseproduktion schwierig sein (Farbenuancen sind schwer einzuschätzen). Es wird auf den Verkäufer verwiesen. Habe aber nicht herausgefunden wie/wo man ihn dafür kontaktieren kann.
