Easy to use, great customer service
I bought four of these candle lighters for work. One of them didnโt work well, so I contacted the seller. They were very helpful. They gave me some additional information: 1. Donโt use a fast charger to charge the lighter. These fast chargers have built-in chips to control power, which may be vulnerable to hacking attacks that can cause power surges in the charger, which may damage normal electric devices. 2. Don't forget to close the slide out tip after use. 3. Try charging the lighter by plugging it into the USB port of a computer. 4. Long-term inactivity will affect battery life. The battery needs to be charged at least once a month to activate the vitality. 5. The tips are made of heat-resistant ceramic (the ceramic does not burn). The lighter may not work properly when there is built up carbon and wax on these tips. Please clean the tips regularly after use. I received the replacement item, and they all work great. So much easier than using matches or regular lighters. I like the safety switch that covers the power button when not in use.

Works amazingly well
Sometimes Iโm asked to set up gas fire pits for events. Unfortunately Iโm often asked at the last minute. And, nobody can find a lighter that still works. Enter this little guy. Itโs about the length of a dinner fork fully extended. And, it came fully charged when I received it. The operation is very straightforward. Slide the โprongโ out to reveal the button. Push the newly revealed button to start an electric spark. This spark is constant and I couldnโt bow it out. Note: despite this - if your gas pressure is too high, there might not be enough oxygen to light a gas flame. Youโre literally suffocating the flame with propane/natural gas. Flame, air, and fuel need to be in the right proportions to ignite. The charging was very straightforward as well. Attach the USB A end of the cable to a lower amperage charger. Insert the USB C end into the lighter. Using a high capacity USB C charger will not work. The lighter will reject it because its circuits canโt handle that fast of a charge. A variable power USB C charger will handle it fine. Once charging, a blue light will turn on. Itโs done charging when the light goes out. My only gripe is that the supplied charging cable is very short - barely longer than the device. I have plenty of cables, so itโs not an issue for me. Engineering-wise, try to not let the lighter hang by the cable when charging. Eventually, youโll wear out the charger, cable, or lighter. Soldered charging ports arenโt engineered to bear weight over time.

You're in good hands with this company
I purchased this lighter a while back, maybe even a year ago. I only needed to light a few candles, so I had not used it that much ...... but then I decided I would burn all of my white sage and not use it anymore (I am trying to be more simple and minimalistic). So, I was outside, trying to have a little relaxing hypnotic sage burn session, and right away the lighter conked out. I recharged it and it held like half a charge at that point. I realized that the lighter was a dud and would not hold a charge. So, I contacted the company, and as I had wanted, they didn't "ding" me for not performing the role of product tester when I first got this lighter. I only used it as I normally would, which was lightly, and didn't test it out to see whether it was in proper working order or not. I would have had to teach myself how to be such a product tester, too, being that I was not familiar with these lighters. I did none of that, and just was the buyer/consumer as I am. The company didn't "ding" me for only being the buyer/consumer, and they sent me a new, working lighter. And I can tell immediately, now, that it works much better than the first one. It has a stronger electric or plasma arch, the way it should be. I'm so happy now!!! The company was really easy to work with, which I think is fair, since I paid for a working lighter and never got it, so at this point they should make things as easy on me as possible. Anyway, eventhough I originally got a dud, the company took care of the issue, so now I can be a happy customer and let others know that the company backs up their products. Order with confidence, and I highly recommend!!!

Great little plasma arc lighter!
I purchased two of these, charged them up in no time at all, they light cigarettes and other herbal substances just fine, even in a bowl if you do it right! Much better than butane. I want my buddy to try it on a cigar, I bet it would take two or three tries. And as for how long it lasts, who cares, it's USB rechargable... where can't you find a port to plug into? Update: After some use, I can say for sure that this lighter does not light 500 times per charge. The listing shows "Fire Cubes" which I don't know what that means, but as far as I'm concerned it doesn't last near that long. Now it doesn't take long to charge, And they made it small and handy. When you make something s"small" you can't expect a huge battery inside it. They have to trade one for the other, and I'm OK with it. I purchased another plasma arc lighter from another website... It cost twice as much, lights even less times per charge, New Update, It is still working, barely. The charging port (microUSB like so many other things) is flimsy and about to break. I just soldered two net jacks on boards that broke off. Canโt they reinforce them any better? Also, if youโre lighting candles with this, might apply to other things as well. You melt a little candle wax on one of the tips it doesnโt conduct. Itโs not easy to make electricity jump that far, voating a contact with anything is gonna be bad. I have shakey hands so Iโve learned: let it cool, then take a clean towel and fold it a couple times, then use the thick side to rub between the contacts (while OFF) to get the wax off...9h, rub gentl, it wonโt take much.

Versatile and Safe Electric Lighter - A Must-Have for Grilling and More
This electric lighter is a game-changer! Not only is it an excellent candle lighter, but it has also saved me from potential mishaps with my gas barbecue grill. With my grill's broken ignition switch, this lighter allows me to start it up safely without risking burns. The design is sleek and modern, fitting comfortably in hand. One of its best features is the long-lasting battery life - it holds a charge impressively well, ensuring it's ready whenever I need it. The ease of use is another major plus; it's intuitive and simple to operate, even for those not tech-savvy. What sets this lighter apart is its versatility. From precisely lighting candles to safely igniting a large grill, it handles various tasks with ease. The long reach is particularly useful for accessing hard-to-reach places. Overall, this lighter combines safety, efficiency, and style. It's become an indispensable tool in my household, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, multi-purpose lighting solution. Pros: Safe for use with gas grills Long-lasting charge Easy to use Versatile applications Sleek design Cons: None that I've found so far!

USB is different! Can't use my regular charger...
***ANOTHER UPDATE*** The 3rd one is now not charging after 1 month and 10 days! The exact same problem like the last (2nd) one! It just stops even registering the charging mechanism. Nothing happens when you plug in the charger. I'm mad. **UPDATE - After 3 months of using this thing (the new type c one) it won't charge anymore! EVERYTHING bought from Amazon does this this now!? The charging port just bums out! I am getting SO SICK OF THIS! AND - the NEWEST one I bought is EVEN CHEAPER! It's made of mostly plastic! IT's TERRIBLE! And much lighter! The price just gets cheaper and cheaper too! I won't be buying another one. I miss my first one (from 3 years ago). It was AMAZING! These suck now. **ORIGINAL REVIEW - This is a new one. I lost my old one. But I like this thing. I smoke... So I like that it makes my cigarettes not taste like lighter fluid. I'm pretty annoyed that this new one has a different USB port! I've never seen this kind of a USB. It's more shaped like an iPhone port, but with the USB male/female thing. (I hope that makes sense...) Anyway - My old one would last 24 hours, but this one has lasted 4 days. (I'm charging it for the first time now.) I'm sure it will eventually start having a shorter battery life, but so far so good. It's a bit tricky lighting a cigarette with these things because the space between (where the plasma flow is) is very small. You can't fit a cigarette in there, so you have to kind of angle it. I think these are pretty much meant for candle lighting... Not sure. Still like it though! One other thing - there is a quiet high-pitched noise coming from them that can really bother your ear and give you a headache! My old one was louder than this one, but this one really bothers my ear MUCH MORE! (That is so strange...) Just don't hold it up to your ear as you're lighting it!

GREAT
I wanted a lighter that could reach candles without burning myself but I was also tired of refilling and replacing lighters. This fixes the reach issue and I can recharge it. The buzzing noise it makes is a little annoying but it's temporary. It even slides to close for safety.

Great for keeping cats at bay and lighting candles second
I honestly never thought I'd write a passionate review about a lighter, but here we are. This SUPRUS electric lighter has become weirdly satisfying to use. The champagne gold finish makes it look fancy enough that I've caught guests pocketing it thinking it's some luxury item (looking at you, Dave from last month's dinner party). The plasma arc is ridiculously effective - I can light candles upside down like some kind of fire wizard, which is strangely empowering. The battery display is actually useful since I no longer have that moment of despair when trying to light something important and finding it dead. Speaking of battery, this thing lasts forever between charges - I've gone through multiple "romantic candle phases" on a single charge. The safety switch is appreciated since I accidentally turned it on in my pocket once and nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard the electric crackle near my thigh. My cats are both terrified of the "psst" sound it makes, which has become an unexpected bonus feature for keeping them off counters. Zero regrets upgrading from my old flame lighter - no more burnt fingers, no more fluid refills, no more existential dread when it's windy outside and I'm trying to light the BBQ. Best $20-something I've spent this year.

Style and quality
This was one of the best purchase I made recently. I wanted to use it for a while before reviewing and I cannot live without this little gadget. I use it daily and it holds the charge for weeks. No real flame until it make contact with the wick and OMG the colour is a perfect match to my MackBook. Looks very sophisticated on my desk or coffee table. Highly recommend this product!
