I’m loving my switch from a tea ball to these diffusers! No more tea leaves in my cup. Easy enough to clean.The material is sturdy enough for everyday use and should last a long (undented) time with due care.I do leave it in to steep a little longer than I did with the tea ball as the holes are smaller in the infuser.

I have recently become a tea enthusiast. After deciding it was time to cut natural flavors out of my diet (don't research why unless you want a serious red pill you can't come back from) and that meant finding a new morning caffeine routine - for me, that resulted in a newfound enthusiasm for loose leaf tea. The one thing I quickly came to dislike, however, was the loose leaf debris that I would constantly find floating in my otherwise wonderful cup of tea. The answer to this debacle? This fine mesh tea infuser.The fine mesh: I have yet to find debris in my tea and I have tried everything from black to white to chai (with little fine particles). None of my cups of tea have had debris floating at the bottom. The mesh truly is fine.The cylinder shape: I like that I can scoop my tea into this quite easily instead of having to squeeze open the circular mesh tea infusers - you all know the kind I'm talking about.The little tray: this is very cute and a really great add. Once my tea is done steeping I can set it on the little tray and go on with my day. I make multiple teas a day so having the ability to let it sit on the tray until my next cup is quite convenient.Miscellaneous: I also enjoy the chain and the screw on lid and although it is a larger size, it doesn't displace much water. I have just enough space for the addition of milk and honey should I choose to indulge a little.Price: Lastly, the price is perfect for the value it brings! As a loose leaf tea lover, I've been using an over-the-cup strainer for years but it was a mess to clean up. After careful review of dozens of options, I purchased this set of 2 infusers. I am really HAPPY with this purchase. I got 2 sets for the price, and they do a fantastic job of keeping loose tea from clogging up the teapot and my sink. The sides have hundreds of holes so take care that you don't squeeze the sides too hard, but they are very easy to handle and clean. They are suitable for my large teapot and also my small "tea for one" set. They will float in the teapot but they have a short chain with a hook on the end, so I wrap the chain around the teapot handle and hook it to keep the infuser submerged. The top screws on and off very easily. It also comes with 2 holders onto which you place the infuser.The ONLY trouble I have with this set? The hook gets caught on my dish drain after washing it up, but I exercise my patience and carefully unhook it. No problem!I would HIGHLY recommend this set, especially for the great price, and in fact, I will purchase this for my loose leaf tea drinking friends and relatives as a holiday gift.Buy this product!
