Really hot and comfy, strings should be longer, not the easiest to tie down but really good and hot for cold nights and mornings.

Does what you'd expect. Takes about 10 minutes or so to pre-heat the bed, but does get nice and toasty! Was used over the winter in an un-heated house whilst it was being renovated. Certainly made those cold nights much more tolerable!As others have mentioned, it doesn't quite cover the entire bed (for a king size), but I can't say I'd notice the benefit if it stretched right up to the edges.Only gripe is the straps that hold the blanket onto the mattress. They're much too short! Doesn't really matter once you've got a sheet over the top though.

It heats well, I bought it for my treatment bed at work which is half as wide as a singke bed but it barely covers half so size up! The lead is quite short too but it does heat up nicely just a shame its so small.

After my original one didn't even turn up , this one was ordered came straight away and is 100 per cent value for money

This is a comfortable addition to my bed. When it’s not in use it is unobtrusive.Lovely and warm in use.

After reading the reviews and the description I bought a double. If I use it on a bed it will be on a single bed, but the reviews suggested a double might be best for this, and my main intent was to use it on a sofa. The heading includes the word 'sofa' and the description ' If you're going to use this on a sofa we recommend the Double or King size version'. Hence unlike some others it appeared it would be suitable for such use.It is a shock therefore to read in the leaflet that accompanies it 'Keep your blanket flat and fully spread out when switched on. Failure to observe these instruction will cause overheating'. The double is 43 inches wide - I know of no sofas this wide - mine is 19 inches. I was expecting to lie it across the seat and up the back of the sofa. I'm not now sure this will be safe. The warning that it will cause overheating is particularly contrary to the description, which says it has 'Automatic overheat protection'.It heats up fine, but in addition, although 43 inches wide, the cable appears to cover the whole length but only reaches across about 23 inches of the width, 9 to 10 inches on either side being unheated. Fine for a single bed, quite inadequate for a double, for which it is advertised.

Lovely and warm. Love getting into bed now in our cold house!! Ordered king size for our double bed having read other reviews and fits perfectly. Only down side is that it moves a bit and the connectors can get under your shoulders so will have to put them at bottom if they'll reach the sockets. Happy with the blanket overall

I bought this as a replacement for my old electric blanket which had stopped working. It arrived a few days after advised delivery date but as this was over the Christmas period this was only to be expected. One thing I would say about it, I would recommend buying a size up than what is required. I bought the double but it is quite small. It comes with elastics to attach to the mattress but it would not fit no matter what way I positioned the blanket on the bed so I had to just lay it on the mattress and hope that it wouldn't move about too much. So far that hasn't been a problem. It heats up quickly and on the whole I am pleased with it.
