It is a cool idea, but kinda painstaking to setup and not as practical as I had hoped. It takes some time and patience to wind the power cable into the back of this mount and get it set in the channels properly.I have one of the 3 set up in my office. It works, but I'll probably take it down when I get a bookshelf in. The WIFI access point sits out kinda far from the wall when it's in the mount and would be in the way of the bookshelf.It works as designed, but it ended up being something that seemed like a good idea, but in reality wasn't as useful as I had hoped.It's very sturdy and fits the WAP very well !

I bought 3 and they do exactly what I need. The one issue I ran into had more to do with how my house is laid out and wired. But I saw no reason to return one or give a bad review since I altered what I needed.In my screwed up house, light switch outlets are on the bottom. This product is strictly designed for the bottom outlet. While I made it fit for the top, if there was another bracket for the top outlet, I'd have bought that for the one spot where it would have worked. It isn't necessary, and is hidden behind a curtain anyway. But maybe someone else will realize before they buy.

In order to clean up my wired mess, I decided to try and find something to hang my Google Wifi points with and I came across these. The main feature that drew me to these outlet holder mounts in particular was the fact that they mentioned an opening at the bottom of the mount to route cables through. I didn't see this feature mentioned on other mounts. The opening worked perfectly and I was able to run my network cables. I was able to move my wifi points to more central locations and get better reception from the devices I tested with. Would definitely recommend!

All you need to know prior to installing/hanging these is this ... Follow the instructions regarding cord winding!!The typical 'dude' I am made me think "I don't need no stinkin' instructions" and proceeded to wind the excess cord into the back of the mount as I saw fit. I was less than happy with how it hung, kind of pushed out from the wall a little.Then I had a moment of clarity and sensibility, and opened the very small instructions. Since I bought a 3-pack (great value) I wound the 2nd mount as instructed and it was much, much better! Rewound and hung the first and it worked great too! There is still room above the mount to use the top plug.Only other advice I have before ordering, is make sure there is enough room below the receptacle and the top of the baseboard so that it hangs properly.

Order this for my husband for his new google wifi. One requirement I had for him when getting the google wifi was that he did not drill any holes in the wall to mount them, and so after searching for a while, we found this product. He was skeptical at first but I thought it would look nice. We got them and the were easy to hook up and attached and made it very clean looking on the walls. My husband was amazed how nice they look, and also enjoys the bonus night light the kids now have. He was also happy that they do not cover any center attachments in the plug in such as the USB ports he has in our light sockets. We would recommend this product to anyone making a purchase of google wifi
