I don't often write reviews but I have read lots! I have suffered from bleeding gums for many years and as a result have had implants. Sadly I have also lost some implants due to the same problem. So as you can imagine over the years I have tried just about every product, you name it I have paid for it. A lot of big brand names which promised a lot but failed to deliver. I decided to look at something different. If what you are doing doesn't work why are you still doing it, I asked myself. So about a month ago I started using this toothpaste. After brushing don't rinse it away. It doesn't have a great taste but who cares if it works. I used it twice a day and after about a week the bleeding was less and the gums felt different. I have not had a product where I could feel the difference it seemed to tagret the areas affected. So now I have been using it for a few weeks I have used about 30% of the tube, so you don't need much. I also checked out the ingredients which have a lot of interesting research behind them. Some people would discount them because they are a herbal product and go for the traditional medical model. Well so did I and it didn't work. So now no bleeding and gums feel tighter. I guess if you can reduce the swelling and pockets around the teeth their is less room for bacteria to get into the gum. Thank you Weleda.

It's good. Taste is fine it doesn't contain fluoride. Recommend.

Very splashy you have to be careful that you don’t get it on your clothes as it tends to splatter and I’m very careful

I wish they would improve the tube design. It invariably splits when I'm only half way through. Also it doesn't taste all that spectacular. But it works well on strengthening my gums, and that's why I buy it for years now.

In my opinion this toothpaste is one of the best available, the other one being the Weleda Salt Toothpaste. They are produced by Weleda, a renowned nearly 100 years old company, which supports anthroposophical medicine and produces high quality natural cosmetics. I don't use anything else for years, after trying these you won't get back to the normal chemical toothpastes. Expect a natural and fresh taste! The Ratanhia Toothpaste is very useful if you have gum problems, it also helps if you have a sore throat (just gargle with it after scrubbing your teeth) - thats because of the effects of Rathania which is actually a plant. The Salt Toothpaste is more a everyday toothpaste (but of course you can use this one also everyday). Great as a gift too!

Bought specifically for the bleeding gums and I think it’s been helping. Also I swapped tooth brush for much softer. It is pink colour so now when spitting the toothpaste out it’s not coloured with my blood but with the toothpaste’s colour. It can make the sink messy (as let’s say charcoal toothpastes do) but happy with the natural product. I don’t really like the metal tube but other than that happy with weleda, as always.

I love Weleda toothpastes! I normally use the salt version from this brand, but decided to try Ratanhia flavor as well after I read about the positives. It is quite dense pinkish paste, very smooth texture (the salt version is more on the runny side). It holds really nicely on a wetted toothbrush and distributes quite evenly. The flavor is ok, nothing strong and I think it won't really make any problem to anybody as the taste is really very mild. I have been having issues with bleeding gums around my crowns since they placed them (more than two years ago). After using this toothpaste (to my surprise) my gums stopped bleeding completely! Prior to my Weleda toothpaste experience, my dentist actually told me that I will never get rid off the bleeding. Also a little note: During my last visit at the dentist I got a compliment, that my gums are much better and at that time I was using only the Salt Weleda toothpaste. I will def continue using both toothpastes.

Buscaba una pasta libre de disruptores endocrinos. El sabor es agradable y la textura también. Lo usamos yo y mi hijo de 6 años y nos ha gustado gratamente. Repetiremos.

I love this toothpaste. It really does safely clean well, without stripping your enamel. And it does tighten gums and strengthen them. It has a very subtle mint taste, so if you like a strong mint taste in your mouth after brushing, this toothpaste is not for you. I like the subtle taste in the night before bed, and a stronger mint taste in the morning. So I tend to use this one at the night, and another brand in the morning.

Assolutamente fantastico! Leggero sapore di menta che non disturba neanche la mattina. Lava benissimo. Mai più senza!
