The Case Study of Vanitas, Vol. 3 (Volume 3)

This is proving to be a fantastic series so far! I was hooked from the first chapter and the further I delve into it the more I like it. It almost goes without saying at this point but Mochizuki's art is top notch as always. Each panel is very clear and you never feel lost regarding what's taking place. Both of our protagonists, Noé and Vanitas, are intriguing and have backstories that I can't wait to see explored more fully. They have distinct personalities and as we go through the series it's becoming clear they deal with trauma quite a bit differently. While the story is dealing with vampires, a topic that has been looked at quite a bit in fiction, I still feel as though it's getting a unique perspective. Vampires don't have a lot of the weaknesses or strengths typically associated with them and the reason they exist in the first place is different as well. I'm looking forward to learning more about how vampires came to be in this universe. All in all, I definitely recommend the series to anyone who liked Pandora Hearts and to anyone who enjoys a story that is dealing with some darker themes but maintains a certain lightness to it (so far; I'm anticipating that the more revelations we gain on specific characters the more that may change).

Best Vampire manga

Omg, I ate up every single word in this volume. The way they built the plot so perfectly to continue on to the next volume was absolutely magnificent. This may be my favorite manga this year so far. I love the characters, the tension, the setting, the story, and the art is STUNNING. Moving on to volume 4 immediately. ❤️

The top and bottom sides were a bit rough but that’s to be expected overall it was amazing quality

There was a sticky substance on the front cover, felt like a residue from some type of tape. Also the corners of the Manga were frayed a bit more than I would like. Otherwise, the pages themselves are in good condition.

De los mejores mangas que he leido y esperando a completar los que actualmente estan! Totalmente recomendable, solamente recomendaria cambiar el embalaje ya que al mandarlos en una bolsa pueden llegar con algun golpe.

Very good book

This volume focuses in the relationships among the characters, and adds complexity to the plot. Also it comes — according to me — with a little of fanservice, but that doesn't damage the story. Instead of that, it reminds you about the tragic end that is waiting. By the way, I really loved the cover featuring both of protagonists. It's beautiful!

Absolutely loved it. The story was gripping and the art was gorgeous. Very much looking forward to volume 4!
