I have recently started aqua aerobics and I’m a cochlear implant wearer. The aqua kit protects the processor from water damage but I was having trouble keeping it in place when moving around in the water. This is the perfect solution.

Ideal for the pool to cover ears

This product is a two-pack of stretchy neoprene headbands designed to cover the ears and fasten with velcro pads. It looks like a good idea, both keeping water out of the ears and hair out of eyes without having to wear a full swimming cap.However, when I tried these I had to go and check I hadn't been sent a child's size by mistake. Despite the stretchiness of the material, I really struggled to stretch the band enough to get it fastened and once secured, it felt uncomfortably tight over the ears and around the head. As soon as I moved the front of band started to slip down over my eyes from my forehead, and my shoulder-length hair was pushed up so I looked like Bjorn Borg after a particularly energetic game. Basically, it just wasn't big enough to fit comfortably and keep my hair out of the way as well as covering my ears. My hat size is a little large for a woman, and men's hats fit me better than women's, but these bands are supposed to fit both sexes. If you have a large head or a lot of thick hair, avoid!!!Don't think I'll be using them for what they were intended, but perhaps they might make good plant ties in the garden!

Not truly fantastic but do the job

I never knew about these kinds of headbands for swimming. They are ideal to cover ears but also be aware of surroundings.The material is soft and comfortable. They are non-slip, durable and adjustable. They are also reasonably waterproof and quick to dry.It is something different so took me a little time to get used to them. They can be worn over swimming glasses too.
