Maxim LED Candle Bayonet Cap (BC) Bulbs, B22, 6 W, Warm White 009778

I purchased these daylight bulbs exactly 1 year ago and although i have had no issues up to now a couple of my bulbs have started to flicker once they get going. I have tried the faulty bulbs in other light fittings and they still flicker so i know it is the bulbs and not the light fitting. Cant abide the flickering so ive had to remove the bulbs. Not happy at all that i purchased 10 of these bulbs for 2 matching 5 arm chandelier type ceiling lights and i am now 2 bulbs missing. The supplier says the bulbs last on average 25yrs but these have failed after 1 year. If the supplier is reading this review i would be greatful for 2 replacements free of charge.

I have purchased 30 of these over the last 18 months and they are a nice bright light probably more like a 60w equivalent, however they have a high failure rate a this time I have 8 failed bulbs no where near the 25000 hrs advertised. One important point some of the ones that have failed started to flicker rather than just going out and these became very hot. Fortunately they are relatively cheap but if the bulb starts to flicker I recommend it is changed asap.

Sadly this is not a good review. I do not know what went wrong. I truly believe I ordered warm white as it was a repeat of an order from a couple of months ago. What arrived was daylight bulbs. I now cannot find first page of the order.I will contact supplier but would like to know and see where the order went wrong. I dislike totally daylight effect bulbs they are so cold looking. when I placed my order the price was very good and speed of delivery was ok as I have been working away all week.

Having bought these to help illuminate a living room for someone that has dementia, I was very disappointed when the first bulb died with less than 2 months use.I'd written the date of first use on the bulb (14-11-19), now 11th January 2020 it no longer works.According to the box, the average usage rating is 25000 hours.With our average usage, we'd at least expect 5 years before any issues developed.2 months is way below an average. These Maxim bulbs are cheap and do not last so I'll not be buying these again.

Bought as replacements for my first energy efficient bulbs that I purchased 3 years ago which are now beginning to fail.Only time will tell how long these will last but looking at the specification they should be even more energy friendly

These are excellent daylight type bulbs. They are great for people with Low vision. They were well packaged and arrived promptly at a good price.

I use them in lamps in the living room, as my wife is partially sighted they help a lot especially in winter whe light levels are low
