Good quality metal mesh
I have been using this mesh to sieve sand out gravel. Its been in and out of water for two weeks and used in a tough, abrasive environment. If it can cope with that it will be fine for insect and rodent prevention. The sheets are folded when packaged but its easy to flatten them out and the mesh is easy to cut with a pair of scissors.

Plié en deux !
Ce n'est pas 1 morceau à plat (30 x 42 cm) mais un morceau plié en deux ! (30 x 21 cm) Du coup quasi impossible d'obtenir une pièce plate et il sera fragile au niveau du pli.Le vendeur devrait informer les clients que c'est un morceau plié en deux car cela peut faire changer d'avis.
