Works with Magellan 35qt coolers. It's "snug" so line it up by hand until it stops. (Should be 1/3 to 1/4 in.) Then I used channel locks and turned "slow" to seat it. Works great!.

Works great with short hose and valve. Could be more sturdy. Prone to breaking off if ice chest slides.

Use better materials, it's all ripped to shreds having to crank it down to stop leaking and that's with the plumbers tape

I got this for my Echosmile 45 cooler that has a drain plug identical to Yeti. I have a lifetime cooler with the hose attachment and wanted the same thing for this cooler. Well it fits the cooler as advertised but the threading is not garden hose thread. It is very close, the hose will screw on most of the way and jam before the hose washer seals. If you are looking to keep the floor dry and drain elsewhere this isn't going to work. To me that's the whole point of a hose connection. I have gotten several garden hose items over the last few years that are just like this. I suspect that where these are manufactured they have a different standard for hose connections. If you have a standard American garden hose this is going to leak.

This drain plug is well molded, and fits my Yeti 45 and 65 coolers perfectly. When screwed in tightly it is easy to take the cap off to attach a drain hose. It works just fine, also, if the tradition draining method of loosening the plug is used to get a little more water out without tipping the cooler. Am very pleased with the performance of this plug.
