Really good can test if there is power by putting the probe in the plug socket

It’s one of those tools that you don’t realise how useful it is until you start using it — now I keep it in the toolbox at all times. It’s a non-contact tester, which means you don’t need to touch any wires directly to check for voltage. Just bring the tip near a live socket, wire, or outlet, and it gives you a clear signal. It lights up, beeps, and makes it very obvious when voltage is present. This feature alone is a real game-changer when working safely, especially in tight or awkward spaces. The A1 model feels solid and well made. It’s lightweight and shaped like a pen, so it fits easily in a pocket or tool belt. The clip is a nice touch too, making it easy to carry around the job site or home without misplacing it. I’ve been using it for weeks now and still on the original set. In short, this is a fantastic little tester. Very useful item. Never failed. Used to test for live sockets before lugging equipment around a job site and used before working on or near cables/power sources. Great sensitivity. Good price. Easy to use. Battery is down to brand used of course.

It does the job and clearly indicates voltage. The design is compact, efficient, lightweight. If your looking to see if voltage exist, especially at home DIY, go for it.

Appears to work okay now I’ve replaced the corroded batteries it came with.

I'm setting my hybrid solar charger and need to connect the wire correctly. This help me find the Neutral and the Live wire from my connection.

Justo lo que necesito para la comprobación de cables rotos...Te ayuda muchísimo para saber dónde está la ruptura. Además funciona muy bien para detectar la fase viva de la corriente alterna. Lo negativo es que no funciona con la corriente continua, pero lo recomiendo ya que es de gran ayuda.

Es funktioniert ohne Problemen. Bis jetzt is nichts negatives aufgefallen. Manchmal kann es ungenau sein, aber es eher seltens der Fall. Es wurde auch pünktlich geliefert und Paket war auch ok.

Was worried this was going to be a bust because of its packaging and how cheap it was, but it works like it should, super easy to figure out and the light is an extra feature that comes in handy. Feels a little cheap on your hand, but for the price you can’t beat it.
