It makes very nice ice cubes and the whole kit is nice and sturdy and easy to use. The lid really helps stopping the ice from evaporating over time, which has always been a problem for me in frostless freezers because I don't use ice all the time.

The tray was fine. I ordered the wrong thing. I wanted a full size tray to replace all of my current trays. However I clicked cube and that is what I got. Not their fault. Just disappointed that I got a little bowl. Guess I will find something to do with it. It seems to be a fine cube holder. Just sorry that I ordered the wrong selection.

I like the siliicone over hard plastic because usually my ice cracks in those. But I've found it harder than advertised to take out the cubes from the mold, especially if your cubes aren't neatly aligned in the storage so there isn't enough space to push the mold down. The storage is nice for saving time and space but if you use ice a lot like I do, make sure to plan ahead so you aren't stuck spending time pushing your cubes out while you're busy.

This ice tray is thoughtfully designed.I'll be honest - I was overthinking it at first.The instructions say to fill the bottom tray with water, and then press the top tray down onto it.The bottom tray is hard plastic, with half-sphere indentations, and it has a lip, so you can fill it higher than the half-spheres.The top tray is soft silicone.Here's where I was overthinking...Just do this over the sink. You don't have to have the tray perfectly, precisely full.When you push the top one on, extra water is going to run out. Go ahead and let it, but keep the whole thing flat so you don't dump more than naturally runs out.When you press the cover down, push the edges into place first, and then push on the little nubbin things that sort of click into place.This will force the water up into the tops of the spheres.Any extra will squirt out the holes in the top spheres.The ones little design flaw is that the excess water will pool around the spheres and you want to dump it out, but you can't dump it ALL without also pouring the water out of the spheres, which you don't want to do.So when it's done, you will have some thin ice on top of the tray. You can see that in my photo - but it doesn't matter. It doesn't make it hard to open or anything. You just have to expect that those little pieces will be there.I froze it overnight so I'm not sure how long it took, but they were solid.I turned the tray over, held it over the included container, and gave it a gentle twist. The balls of ice fell out easily.They are SO CUTE. You can see how much one batch makes in my photo. I think you could do 6 or 7 maybe if you wanted the container completely full, so plan for that time if you need it for a party or something.I don't want to call them ice cubes... these ice spheres are adorable, the setup is simple (if you don't overthink it) and it fits well in the freezer. You can leave it stacked or put the tray somewhere other than on top of the container. If you don't have room for the container, you could also just use it as an ice cube tray and refill it as needed.

This little tray is super compact compared to traditional ice cube trays. It has a smaller footprint, but holds more ice spheres. We have been using this daily for several months, it is very well-made and feels like it will last a long time. The lid fits securely over the silicone topper, creating a seal that keeps any potential freezer odors or flavors out. The included bin fits perfectly below the tray in a stack, or it can be removed. The ice sphere tray is perfectly functional without the bin.Well worth the price, and super helpful to have more space in the freezer.

I wanted to love this ice cube tray and holder but when they describe it as "compact and space saving" storage what they really mean is teeny tiny - as in, look at the photo with the glass next to it... that gives you your scale! Yes the rocks glass is actually larger than this ice cube storage! So how does it hold the quantity of cubes listed? Not a complete fabrication because the cube mold is, yes wait for it, ALSO teeny tiny! Combo that with the fact that they must include the tiny tray full of ice in addition to what can fit in the actual bin. The best way to describe the bin is to think of a slightly larger storage container for a sandwich. Not exactly what you want for ice storage for your next gathering. The description on Amazon posts these dimensions: 16.54 x 13.98 x 27.17 inches. Sadly it is more like 4"W x 4"D x 3"H . Going back.

My gift recipient was pleased with the compact size of this ice cube tray and box. While not spill-proof, the lid is a nice touch to keep the cubes from freezer-burn.

The cubes must be pushed out one by one from the bottom of the silicone mould!The top of the storage box does not snap on.The cubes are perfect and measure close to an inch.

This product is compact and very smart looking. It makes perfect small square ice cubes. The cubes stay fresh because of the lid and storage. The storage container holds three trays’ worth of cubes. This is not a high volume unit, but it is elegant and compact. Makes a great gift.

Works well and is relatively easy to pop the cubes out but..... c'mon these ice cubes are sized for toddlers

This is a good product. I like the quality. I just wish the lid stayed on a bit better. It slides off sometimes when I put it back in the freezer
