Worked for me whilst fitting new DPF pressure sensor - Mercedes
Whilst replacing the DPF pressure sensor (Mercedes OM642) it seemed like the right time to try this. The included long plastic tube is easily long enough to reach the bottom of the sensor hose and the pressure of the can was fine for me. Leave a bit of time between squirts (always a good policy..) as it can foam back a little. I used the whole can and then reconnected the hoses to the new Bosch (0 281 006 278) DPF pressure sensor. Cleared the "DPF pressure sensor differential circuit low" fault codes using a cheap OBD scanner that I already had and after the recommended time ran the engine stationary for approx 20mins. Be prepared for ALOT of un-environmentally friendly smoke! In combination with the replacement DPF sensor this has (currently) completely solved my problem of repeated DPF pressure sensor warnings, several episodes of limp home mode featuring rough running and jerky gear changes. It's a night and day difference, particularly with the gearbox which is back to smooth changes. Fuel consumption has improved, no more acrid smell from exhaust and automatic regenerations have restarted.

Careful with how you use the can...
So my DPF appears to be too far gone for this to work - it's super blocked. I can't even get smoke/steam out the exhaust. You will notice that other reviews will say that you can't get all the contents out of the can before the pressure runs out. I bought two of these and the first one proved this to be true. I had to add pressure using my air compressor to empty the can. Pressure ran out after emptying by about 40%. The second one was fine but this one was triggered whilst up-right, not upside-down. Many YouTube how-to video will show these things being applied upside-down but I believe the trick is to have the can up-right. There are no instructions on the can regarding this. I imagine this product will work okay for DPFs that are on the brink of being blocked but if it's too far gone then the DPF needs to come off. In summary two cans did not solve my issue, and the first can was left to soak for 12 hours. Second can I left for 15 minutes as instructed. For reference my car is a BMW 730d (E65) which is the M57 engine - no warning lights, it just blocked suddenly blowing the exhaust back pressure sensor hose off the sensor. Hope this helps someone.

Easy to use via DPF pressure sensor pipe
I've been having a few DPF issues on my 2009 Kia Sportage 2.0 crdi. The dpf regen warning light is flashing and, despite trying to regen (distinct hot burning smell) it hasn't cleared it. Last time, I used an in tank liquid and cleared the after-dpf pipe to the pressure sensor, but it only lasted 3 weeks before popping up again. This time around, I've blasted air through the after-dpf pressure sensor pipe, then have used this foam to spray into the pre-dpf sensor pipe, directly from the sensor end, under the bonnet with a cold engine. For anyone with a Sportage or similar engine, it's the left hand pipe, which attaches to the front of the sensor.Follow the instructions re: 3 to 5 quick squirts, 5 second pause and continue until the can is empty. Using it in a position as shown in my photo, the pipe will feed down inside the rubber hose from the front of the pressure sensor. I had no issues and the can did completely empty.Run the car stationary, ticking over for 15 mins, then go for a 30 min drive. I did this and put my foot down a bit. The engine really opened up and I could rev it up to the red line, if I'd wanted to. This clearly shows better air flow from the exhaust. There was no smoke or water vapour, so you have to take my word that it worked. So far, so good. No warning lights, which were constantly popping up.I'll be sure to update this review if anything changes, but for now I'm really impressed with how it seems to have helped.

Did the job.
After replacing a faulty DPF vaporizer on my Transit Custom. I put a can of this cleaner straight into the DPF. I followed the instructions and after taking the van for a run, the DPF fault message disappeared at around 10 miles.

Out of Gas
Thought this might do the trick, unfortunately disappointing as dispite following all instructions can ran out of Gas with half contents still inside . Will it work? I’ll get back to you
