I wore these shoes for a couple of days before realizing I'd been sent the wrong size (7 regular instead of 7.5 wide). The size on the actual shoes differed from the size printed on the shoe box. Amazon customer service immediately authorized a return: excellent service! I really liked the shoes and regretted the need to return them, but the pair I was sent just didn't fit me at all. (I have so many foot problems that I'd just assumed they didn't feel right because my feet never feel right....) If the price goes down again I may order again in the correct size since they provided bunion relief and had great cushioning for ball of foot and heel, all problem areas for me. Arch support was also okay though may not be enough for anyone with high arches without an insert. (Next time I'll check to make sure the shoes in the box match the size printed on the box before wearing!)

We got these shoes for my mother, who has a both gout and bad arthritis, and works a hard, physically-demanding job from 7AM-3PM every day on a concrete floor. It is a job that always leaves her in pain, so when I got my own soft walks, I suggested we buy her a pair to try working in too. She loves them; she says the pain in her feet and knees has went way down because of these shoes. She's going to try putting inserts in for the ball of her feet (her problem area) and hopefully that will add even more comfort, but when it comes down to it, we are very happy with the shoes. I highly recommend them to someone who has bad feet issues, or works hard, physically demanding jobs all day like my mother. You may need to customize them a little (like the inserts with my mom) but otherwise, they're wonderful.

The FIT, LEATHER RUBBER SOLE.

This shoe is perfect fit for my foot after foot surgery years ago. It is dressy and casual. I am thrilled with this pair.

This is a very high quality shoe. The leather is really soft and buttery. The foot bed is very comfortable (great padding!). The soles are substantial and yet they bend easily. I think these would be great walking shoes and/or comfortable to stand in for a long time. The toe bed fit me well both in length and width. The cut-out sections are actually a heavy, durable-feeling elastic fabric which were very comfortable. However, it seems to me that these shoes must be designed for someone with either high insteps and/or larger (wider at the instep) feet. This is because the flaps with the laces are so close together that they almost overlapped when I tried to tie them and the leather underneath and directly in front of the laces bunched up. I really wanted to be able to keep them because the leather was so soft and the shoes felt so good on my feet (until I tried to lace them up). But they were too large so I sent them back.

I had to send these back. They were built too short from the sole to the upper of the shoe where the tongue meets the boy of the shoe. I do have a high arch but this is the first time I have ever had this particular problem. I could get my foot in the shoe but they would not have been comfortable for a full 8 hours walking on concrete. The soft fabric in the sides makes these a great choice for someone with bunions and I expect they would be cool if your feet to sweat a lot. I'm disappointed that they were not the right fit for me.

In general, I like the shoe and they are comfortable. They seem to stretch as you wear them, so I find myself tightening the laces during the day. I think if my feet were a little bit more consistent in width, it wouldn't be so much of an issue.The only serious negative is the slippery laces that need to be retied often, even with double-knots. I would suggest finding another pair of laces if you decide to buy these.

It took me three tries to get the size right, but that was on me not being clear on what would work best. However, in the process I gratefully discovered how easy it is to exchange! This is a good, solid shoe that is very comfortable.
