This product is a tan accelerator. And yes, it is the same as australian gold spf tanning products with bronzer.

does it leave marks on clothes?

Not noticeably but over time it does yellow any swimwear with white in it and does get on white bath towels but washes out easily. I have used it for several years and it has proved to be the best lotion it smells amazing but I stress it has no sun screen in it .
