Will this fit fleet guard LF3959 ??

If you look up the thread size for LF3959 and compare to all other 5.9 or 6.7 recommendations such as LF16035 you will see that they all have thread size 1-16UN2B. This will fit your filter. I’ve used it and it’s great!
