PondoMax Eco Waterfall & Pond Filter Pumps (1500)

The pump has been running 24x7x365 for over 3 years now, powering a running water bird bath I installed in the garden pond. No problems at all - never needed turning off so far except a couple of times when the flow was slowing a little due to pond weed build-up that needed to be cleared away from the housing. This is in a bio-rich pond with much vegetation, many aquatic insects and even breeding newts - pump has never been blocked once and animal life is thriving with the added oxygen (which was the initial reason for installing a pump in the pond that sometimes tended towards anaerobic (meaning smelly) conditions in the middle of summer.And it has been a huge success with the birds, which come in large numbers all year round, daily, to bathe and drink from at the bird bath which is fed by a 1.5 m hose jammed in an old shell on the bird bath end, and attached to the pump at the other.Would definitely buy again - if and when the thing ever dies!

I have a small pond and this pump was so easy to install and did the job. Very light and it looks easy to clean but haven’t done that yet. Very pleased with the price.

Well priced pond pump providing excellent outlet flow This is my second purchase The first pump has been going 24/7 for past three years and another purchased for a second water feature I have just installed.I would have preferred a larger outer casing so as to perhaps avoid regular 4 to 6 weeks cleaning, but I find that a very minor issue

All good. Easy to install. We had the last pump for 10 years + I think, so excellent performance and value.

I was replacing an old pump. This one works really well and does not clog up like the old one did. I used to have to attend to the old one a couple of times a week but haven't needed to touch this one in several weeks.

Neat well made pump which works very well and provides a good water flow.Surrounding strainer cage is a bit small and prone to clogging requiring fairly frequent cleaning
