They are good bolts, real steel, but image provided is innaccurate, the bolt is not threaded all the way, about 50,60% is threaded. I had to purchase additional washers. However it's usage was long enough for the job it is intended for, 180mm. so the shorter part of the smooth shank would not be used in this instance. Though it's worth noting, incase you need all the length to be threaded.I was attaching 2x4 piece off wood to a brick opening for a gas meter to be covered by a small wooden door on hinges, to cover it up. the hinges are attached into the face of the 2x4 wood, so I used these bolts to attach the wood to the brick on the inside.Yes, I could have used "masonary screws" and the door would have covered the gap, however in order to keep the door shut, it needs a latch so I drilled an additional hole into the brickwork, using a smaller wood bolt, put this in the hole, then I screwed a wood screw into the side of the door, this rests on the bolt and keeps it shut. Again i could hav drilled a small latchbolt into the brickwork, but it rarely gets opened so it doesn't matter.These bolts however are integral to keeping the door and frame from slumping downwards because nothing was holding the 2x4 upright. I could have used glue or cement but wanted the 2x4 to be flush with the brickwork and no mess.The bolt mushroom cap sticks out on the other side of the brick, I will have to try and counter sink the heads by chipping the brick carefully and patch with cement. This would push the bolts out on the inside but with over 40% remaining thread, its not an issue.Otherwise great bolts. Other projects I can think of is a folding sawhorse, a table corner joint (2x4 flat) , folding chair joint, adjustable weightlifting bench, creating wider wood lengths, roofing, structural etc

The bolts are great quality but the nuts were too big so pointless to include them I’ll need to go find suitable nuts so don’t buy if you need the nuts desperately

Considering the quantity and price, the quality of these exceeded my expectations. I required good quality steel bolts with precision threads and nuts to match in order to secure a structual frame in place, and that's exactly what I received. Very satisfied.

These are not same as picture. Only partially threaded, as I am using them as an adjustable clamping jig will have to manafacture spacers. So instead of 5 stars only 3.
