NLT is an excellent Bible. Written in a manner easier to comprehend. I have numerous Bibles and often check a number of translations when reading the Bible.A “man’s version” Bible. Purchased specifically for this reason. Want to know what “men” are being told biblically that women are not. There are instructions/suggestions pertaining to the sexual nature of men 🤦🏻‍♀️ with regard to woman (geez 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ criminy …).Still exploring/comparing with other NLT to see if there are differences in actual text. So far seems the same, other than the man-based side-notes. Will look up the quotes to see if the men being quoted are actually men of character.I do like the Bible helps me to understand what/how/why men think like they do ... though at times I find their thought processes frightening, frustration and/or confusing.The Bible itself is the same as other versions NLT.The Bible is smallish and easy to handle, maybe too small for a man's hands. The text is small and the pages are thin and would easily tear.

I especially like the notes it has in it. They really help you to understand the subject matter and gives you more perspective.

I bought this study Bible for my husband. So far really enjoys it, he compares it to other study Bibles he has and this one still is ranked no.1 by him.

This is the first Bible that my husband actually loves! It helps him understand what he’s reading and makes it more understandable. Such a great gift for the special man in your life! The hard cover makes it durable and easy to write in!

I am a long time Christian and have been familiar with many bible translations over the years. I am perfectly comfortable with KJV, but also enjoy other translations such as NKJV, NASB, and NIV; however I became familiar with the NLT translation while looking for something very readable for my teenage children. After comparing several scriptures from the NLT with the aforementioned translations, I felt that this thought for thought translation remained close enough to the original meaning that I was comfortable with it and decided that I wanted a copy for myself. As I have several bound copies of the bible, I decided that I wanted a Kindle version for my 3rd generation Kindle Fire for easy transport. Although I was mostly interested in a simple reading format, I was also intrigued by the extra study aids and male perspective offered in the EveryMan's Bible. After having it for several months now, I can report that I am very happy with not only the NLT translation, but the Kindle version of this EveryMan's Bible as well. As previously stated, I would have been happy if the Kindle version allowed for an easy straightforward reading of the text alone, but I am very pleased that the navigation to the extra study aids is accomplished in a logically thought out and functional manner: What's more, returning to the text after accessing the extra material is easily accomplished as well. I am extraordinarily happy with this purchase and with the study bible itself. It is not often that the performance and quality of an item exceeds expectations, but that is the case with this Kindle version of the EveryMan's Bible. Please keep in mind, this is my experience based on its performance on a Kindle Fire. I cannot speak to how the product might function on other devices.

I bought the Kindle version of this bible. Reading the sample loaded to my kindle app convinced me that this was right for me, so I bought it. That is what I like about the Kindle app. I can try a book before buying it. I like paper books, but I have transitioned to eBook's. If I have problems reading the text like some have mentioned is too small, I just increase the text size. This what got me reading eBook's about 5 years ago when I had cataracts in both eyes. I also like having my favorite books that I refer back to again and aging with me on my phone or tablet.I digress.This is the first Man's bible I have ever bought. I like all the front and rear matter included. The NLT is so much easier to read and understand compared to my study bibles. That is why the NLT exists in the first place. I just can't take the KJV or even the NKJV at times and want something that doesn't use such archaic language. I am not knocking the KJV, but it's not the bible our forefathers brought to this country. I have several KJV's but I don't read them. In this day and my opinion, the NLT is the best translation for someone new to the bible to begin reading. I highly recommend this bible to my Brother's in Christ and to those of you wanting to learn, enjoy and understand the Holy Bible.

I love this bible most practical footnotes and articles ever . All the helps written in men’s lingo , I would any men to get one .

This is a beautiful bible! Great content set out just for Men and their lives/struggles ect. You should buy this if you are looking for a great mens bible for yourself, husband, kids boyfriend (which is why I bought this...and kept it for myself!).HTH
