Excellent eraser for soft drawing media
This eraser is dark grey, and about 4.5 cm square. It comes wrapped in plastic film to protect it, and a paper wrapper. Unfortunately, the wrapper is useless once opened, so you'll need to find a bit of cling-film or a bag in which to store the eraser once opened.I bought the eraser specifically for use with pastel and charcoal artwork, on a variety of papers. It's really effective at erasing pastel and charcoal, without wrecking the "tooth" (surface texture) of the paper; though pastel is almost impossible to erase 100% from any surface. It is obviously not quite so good at erasing harder stuff, such as HB graphite pencil, but it is reasonable at erasing 4B and softer graphite pencil types. Its dark grey colour does not transfer to the paper. It is squashy and kneadable, with the consistency of "Blu Tack", and may be formed into a point to dab away excess pastel or charcoal from a very small area. It may also be rubbed on the paper, like a hard eraser, though it inevitably deforms quickly when used that way. As someone who sketches portraits almost daily, I expect this eraser will last me quite a few months.

You May 'Knead' More Than One
An excellent eraser, perfect for removing rough pencils in a few fell swoops before going in and finishing your artwork with clean lines (not that it doesn't erase finished pencils too!). I expected it to be a little bigger for some reason but you can always combine several of them together, since it's basically like Blu-Tack.

Recommendable
This eraser IS AWESOME. Very easy to form shapes with it, and it's removing pencil lines like magic, you don't even have to use any force on it. Highly recommendable!

putty rubber
does what it says... no issues to report. easily knead-able, and lifts off the graphite marks easily. Not really much else to say.

Excellent
This eraser simply works as it should. I've used it on some fairly dense pencil sketches without any problem to date.

Good for soft pencil etc.
This rubber is a good size but is very soft and sticky. It removes soft pencil well by dabbing but you wouldn't use it so much for rubbing out marks. I prefer a less sticky rubber Koh-I-Noor Kneadable Eraser that I have got that I can knead to shape and either rub or dab to remove pencil. I haven't tried either eraser on pastels yet and notice that another reviewer had good results on pastels with this one. So perhaps that is where it would be used best.

Don't as useful as I thought
Easily moulds into any shape, but it just isn't firm enough to erase properly. I'd stick to a normal eraser or an eraser pen.
