Emerson Lake & Palmer sheet music
This book of sheet music for Emerson Lake & Palmer contains the following pieces:(1) C'est la Vie (taken from their 1977 album "Works Volume 1");(2) The Endless Enigma (Part I) (taken from their 1972 album "Trilogy");(3) The Endless Enigma (Part II) (taken from "Trilogy");(4) From the Beginning (taken from "Trilogy");(5) I Believe in Father Christmas (the album version of the song is taken from their 1977 follow-up album "Works Volume 2", and there is an alternative version which was released as a single by Greg Lake);(6) Karn Evil 9 (1st Impression Part II) (taken from their 1973 album "Brain Salad Surgery");(7) Lucky Man (taken from "Emerson Lake & Palmer", the band's self-titled debut album from 1970 which is regarded by many people to be one of their best efforts if not the best);(8) Still... You Turn Me On (taken from "Brain Salad Surgery");(9) Take a Pebble (taken from "Emerson Lake & Palmer");(10) Trilogy (the title track from the album of the same name).Although the pieces featured in this songbook are listed in alphabetical order in the contents page and on the back of the book, in the book itself they are not quite in alphabetical order for some reason. It would be great if at some stage in the future publishers could release sheet music for all of the band's albums in their entirety, for example their self-titled debut from 1970 which consists of "The Barbarian", "Take a Pebble", "Knife-Edge", "The Three Fates", "Tank", and "Lucky Man".Anyway, this book is a start for anyone wishing to practice playing pieces of music by Emerson Lake & Palmer. Highly recommended.
