Good sourcebook, but......
So, just finished reading through the book and its a good book. When they say "Essential Collection of Vehicles" they mean just that. There are a lot of ground and space vehicles from various books across EoE, AoR, and F&D. However, it is not a compendium of every vehicle presented in those games. So, if you are looking for stats on an ISD or the Ghost or the differences between Lando's Falcon and Han's Falcon then you will be very pleased. If you were hoping to not have to lug out your rulebooks and sourcebooks looking for a particular vehicle you may or may not be out of luck in that respect.

Very nice looking, but a bit lacking
This book is very solid and excellent for anyone running the FFG Star Wars RPG. There is a lot of art, most ships and vehicles having a picture, and I really appreciate that every entry has story hook suggestions on how to incorporate it into a game. My biggest disappointment is that this book is missing entries that are present even in the core game books. To be fair, it isn’t advertised as having every stat block previously given, but there are some fairly big omissions in my opinion. The Lancer Frigate is not listed despite the book including 13 TIE variants and most every other Imperial frigate or corvette. The Victory Class star destroyer is also not separated like the Imperial Class star destroyer, which has an entry for the I and II classes. The book simply lists the Victory II, provides the load out of a Victory I and mentions in the text that you can swap for upgrades to the load out to make the ship an upgraded Victory II. This last point is nitpicking on my part, as this book reintroduced the Victory II to the current canon and had them essentially identical to the Victory I in all but name. All that aside, this is a great book to gain access to a lot of vehicle and ship profiles without buying tons of supplement books that some of these profiles were spread from.
