Inaccurate - Save Your Money
It’s a shame the return window closed, because these are not useful at all. The design is fine, the colors are great - but THEY POINT IN THE COMPLETELY WRONG DIRECTION.I bought these so my child could learn how to use a compass, and these point everywhere but where they should. I ended up giving my more expensive, accurate one to my child, which is apparently what I should have done in the first place.

Value for the price.
Carabiner is the best part of this. Compass is a little slow and north pointing is affected by any iron piece, even the small key ring.

A quality compass
Great little compass. Highly recommend the orange color as it stands out nicely and is well made. The carabiner clip has a twist locking mechanism so it stays securely attached to whatever you put it on. I have mine clipped on the top handle loop of my travel backpack.

My daughter and I love this!
My daughter and I have taken these hiking and just out and about on our daily adventures. She loves asking me “which way are we facing” and guess and check. It’s helping her gather her awareness of direction on a day to day basis.

Needs to be held completely flat and level to work
I like having a compass because I have a terrible sense of direction. What I don't like about these is that they need to be held completely flat and level in order to work. The clip on aspect is great for being portable, but even just a slight tilt of the compass while using it and it will get stuck and not show the correct orientation. They work if you use them very carefully and still.

My kids loved these
We got these for our kids and they loved them. They clipped them onto their little hiking backpacks and now love to tell us which direction we are going.
