Best amp for the money
Sounds like a tube amp. 2 channels and works with pedals so well. I love it

Unbelievable quality for the price
A brilliant amp, a back to basic great sounding amp. I'd had modelling amps that I ended up getting rid of because even with 999 settings I only ever used one or two. I wanted an amp that I could practice at home with and take to practice or play live, something I could carry. This amp more than meets my needs and although we don't play with a drummer if I ever did I have no worry that this would work for me. It might be light but the sound isn't.

Cool little amp!
Good product and it's exactly as advertised. Much louder then expected and a "fun" pedal platform. Is it a vintage tube amp? Absolutely not but it's not trying to be. Solid state, snappy, and the tone is mostly about the player anyway. I think it's great just manage your expectations.

Versatile Value!
I bought this amp when looking for something that could do anything I throw at it. The 50w/5w power selection switch makes this amp capable of both quiet bedroom and loud full band practice/gig settings which is quite nice. To only need one amp to do both is unheard of in this price range. The Blackstar ISF tone knob is a very versatile tool and helps players dial in their amp's tonal characteristics beyond traditional amps. I personally love the ISF knob rolled all the way to the right on the clean channel as this produces a chimey British sound reminiscent of a Vox amp. Blackstar set out to release this amp as one that is very simple, yet uncompromising in the tone department and absolutely accomplished that! There are enough features to run the amp as-is and generate excellent sounds, but adding pedals unlocks many more possibilities too. It is an incredibly responsive pedal platform. My only complaint is that the optional footswitch is sold separately from the factory. That is no big deal though as this amp was a home-run purchase! There is excellent reason why this amp is on backorder through most retailers. See for yourself!

It's an OK Amp
Watched a boat load of Youtube videos giving great reviews. On the basis of those I bought one via Reveb.com from "The Sound Parcel" vender. Error! The amp is shrill on most all settings. Juxtaposed it with my DV Mark 50 watt amp with 1x12 cab (Fender Speaker). The Blackstar sounds like it's playing through a tin can by comparison to the rich texture of the DV Mark. Both are solid state, analog amps. I was going to return it but the vender wanted not only shipping costs back but also fee for the original "free shipping" to me. That amounted to nearly a $90.00 net loss. At least Amazon's return policy doesn't hurt as much. For a realitively low dollar combo, go with the Fender Champion 40 or 50XL. Better sound, slightly cheaper and avoid small venders.

Great Starter Amp, Easy to Use
It's easy to use, with simple controls that allow me to dial in a decent sound without getting lost in a maze of knobs and settings. The clean channel is crisp and clear, and the overdrive channel provides a satisfying crunch for rock and blues riffs. The built-in delay effect adds another layer of fun, allowing me to experiment with different sounds and textures. The headphone input is a lifesaver for late-night practice sessions, and the MP3/Line in is handy for jamming along to my favourite tunes. However, don't expect this amp to blow you away with its power. It's perfect for bedroom practice and smaller jams, but it might struggle to keep up with a drummer in a band setting. The 10-watt output is decent, but it's not going to shake the walls.Overall, this is a fantastic choice for beginners or those who need a compact and versatile practice amp. It's easy to use, sounds great, and offers a good range of features for exploring different tones and styles. If you're just starting out or looking for a reliable practice companion, this amp is definitely worth considering.

30w practice amp with a few added extras
An easy to use 30w practice amp with worthy extra feature. On the control panel It has a single 1/4inch socket for a guitar lead, a gain and volume pot along with three tone controls, bass, middle and treble. There is a unique ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) tone pot for individual user control when turned fully left it gives a very twangy feel American sound and fully right it gives a more mellow English sound, along with a mixture of the two in between..For further sound control there is a delay button and timer switch to enhance the delay. It has a ten inch speaker which gives a very acceptable sound in both tone and volume. When you want silent mode there is a headphone socket that cuts out the speaker, a welcome addition for others in the house who don’t want to hear you play Wild Thing over and over again. An added extra is a mini jack audio input to play any sort of backing track to play along with.So that’s what you get with this amp.The sound is great, it has a wide ranging tone control and plenty of scope for personalising the sound. For any budding guitar player, or accomplished guitarist who wants something to practice with, then this amp will fit a lot of rolls.Loud enough for home or for small venue use.I reckon it’s excellent value and a worthwhile investment.

Xellent Tone!
I wanna start off with the packaging. It was 👍 The quality on this amp is amazingggggg.Same goes for the sound qualityyyyyyyyy. The best feature in this amp is the ISF(Infinite shape feature).I paired it with a squier and it made the guitar sound like a fender I'm not gonna lie.Good for funky tones though. The amp barely had any hiss. The only hiss you get is in the od channel but the hiss is very slight!Best amp and definitely go for this rather than the boss katana mini or the fly 3.

Ziemlich gut!
