Dealing with sciatica and lower back pain a Dr recommended I get a lumbar belt and I’m glad I picked this one, it works great fits under my shirts, gives great support for the lower back, I wear it all day and since I got it about a month ago my lower back has been able to recover incredibly well, big big difference in my motion, the pain shooting down my leg went away, but also make sure you take care of your back and not just rely on this to fix you, but it’s made a big difference in my life, def recommend it and well worth the money. Working great for my dad who has back problems. I got the size suggested for him and it fit perfectly. It does come with adjustable straps in case your size is slightly off and you need a little bit more but we didn't have to use it. It helps him feel more comfortable and give him added back support for a reasonable price.

Suffering from lower back pains, I’ve tried several support belts over time. Fit, comfort, support and durability are the usual concerns. This might be the best I’ve used yet, pending its durability. The main concern with that is whether the velcro holds up. I’m fairly optimistic about that, because the velcro seems strong, not thin or flimsy. The support is excellent and it’s comfortable to wear. The back support padding is thick and the elastic belt is of sturdy material, so there’s no annoying “fold-over” common to thin-walled fabric belts. This one keeps its shape and stays where you position it. The velcro stays firmly connected, even if only an inch length is cinched. And the belt comes with a separate velcro extender that gives you an extra five or six inches if necessary, making it easier to fit and to maintain the fit if your weight fluctuates.

The brace fits true to size and is of reasonable quality. The support is sturdy yet flexible, and its adjustable straps allow you to customize the level of tension and compression, with the Velcro holding securely. It’s comfortable under clothing, not overly bulky, and it stayed in place without rolling—an issue some other braces are reported to have. There was no skin irritation, and the breathable material kept it from feeling too warm during wear. Unfortunately, it did not reduce back pain for the wearer; it simply made them more aware of the painful area, so it was returned. Nevertheless, the construction was reported to hold the lumbar region secure, which may help prevent further strain or injury.

I bought the this back brace hoping for some relief from a couple of bulging discs that have been making me feel about 30 years older than I actually am. I’ve purchased similar lumbar braces that do not give the same support as this. I have deep aching and burning pain due to bulging L3, L4, L5 discs with stenosis and use this while working a job that requires moderate to heavy lifting for a few hours each morning. The added side straps are easy to use, stay in place when I’m bending, and I can feel the change in support when I tighten them. The lumbar pad puts a perfect amount of pressure on my spine and now I can’t imagine using my previous braces that did not have one. I’m glad I found this, as it allows me to get through my mornings at work without too much pain. I do a lot of bending and twisting, and during a two hour shift I might have to adjust the brace once or twice, due to it moving a 1/2 inch or so. I’d say that’s to be expected. Overall, I’d recommend this. I can tell the immediate difference when I’m wearing it.

For a 36” waist, the brace only provides minimal support and I’d expect at a 34” waist there would not be adequate support. The pictured brace is notably taller than the one received. It holds well and the shape is great. Overall it’s more cheaply made than expected as well, where the Velcro will likely wear out quickly. If the brace is just for temporary, short-term use for a 36”+ waist it will probably work fine. But anything <36” and long-term I’d find a higher quality product,

Fits snug and gives a lot of support. I purchased it for my wife who has used for the past several days. She is very happy with it and says it does elevate most of her back pain.
