Well made and Strong QCTP
It's hard to find a OXA QCTP for a small Taig-based lathe. This one fits great, though you'll have to do a little drilling so you can run T-Nut screws down into the cross-slide. But the mounting plate is soft steel, so any drill press ought to be able to handle it. I suppose you could use a hand drill too, since it's not a precision hole.Wedge type tool posts are MUCH stronger and sturdier than the piston type that is commonly found on this size lathe.Recommended!

I tried one of the aluminum ones first and it did not work at all. This is very good.

Needed modification to function
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had the correct post size for the Vevor 7x16 mini lathe and had 6 tool holders.Fit:The tool holders would not fit on clamping post so I had to file down the clamping wedge to allow the holders to slide on. It functioned properly after the modification.
