Not comfortable until it FEELS GOOD - best back relief gadget!
This arrived today and I am already happy with it! Sure, it cost more than I would normally allow myself to spend. Backstory: I broke my back (T4 & 3 lumbar) in 2014. After a year of therapy, my formerly strong yoga back was finally getting much better. Weekly massage therapy and enduring so much pain, burning, tears, even working as a secretary for Cleveland Clinic my fractures were missed initially. I only had two weeks off, I still needed to make a paycheck. The doc told me to keep doing my yoga, but it burned so much! My favorite PT lady told me she was working my myofascial tissue, and I learned how much of an issue (for me) that was in the healing process. I now am near retirement age and sit to work remotely. I've not had a relapse but there are days moving a flower container or painting a wall causes soreness. I have areas that hold a lot of discomfort. The wall dance us back people do, using a tennis ball was never easy when the ball fell to the floor, but brought some sore muscle direct relief. THIS PRODUCT is like all the tennis balls but they stay put, against you! Back to the review. Lying on my yoga mat, I put my brand new contraption under me and gently (very gently until you are used to getting on/off this board) lowered myself to this and found my sweet spot. The board easily wiggles left and right, so gotta play with finding your own comfort zone. Of course, if you are up against a sore area, it will not be comfortable. UNTIL IT STARTS TO FEEL GOOD. I used it for 5 minutes, bent my knees a little to ease up, first time. Then I tried it sitting on the couch - my back made a great little crack! Had hubby try it, he is more cautious, does not like the hard knobs digging into his muscles lying on it. But he did like it for lumbar soreness sitting straight up on the couch. I just now am sitting at my desk typing, with this quite usefully behind me. I might feel a little soreness (think Princess & the Pea) tomorrow, but I already had relief on a VERY tight area that had me walking slowly all week. There is a 30 day return, so give it a try! I'm so glad I did.*Update after use several days: used day 2 lying on floor, but be careful getting up as you may have a major headrush! The room spun for many seconds, never had this before so I expect there were some nerves being released from some trigger points that actually felt better. I then got a big pop as I was walking through the house a few minutes later... THAT was the area that hurt the most all week prior. So it does work, for me at least.

Rocking not possible. Full back never achieved at once
I am an athlete. Initially this product works nicely. The idea I just to have relief from all pressure points when laying on top of this product. I had found that using it on my upper back is a main section of my back that it gets. The other portions of my back do not get any relief. And the rocking back-and-forth motion required a non-slippery surface. My rug is not do justice. Yoga mat works. Lower back does not get a substantial pressure. I would have to adjust my positioning in order to get some if not any pressure to all the points of my back. I rather I’mnmm the product stationary instead of walking if I am going to have to position my body to get the right to relief. The material used is still great quality.

Back Relief Game Changer
Best back tool we’ve ever purchased. A couple months ago I messed up my lower back and have tried multiple devices, PT, chiropractor, stretching, etc. This has been one of the most effective purchases to date. It was painful at first because I had so much tightness but as I’ve continued to use it I’ve noticed a lot less pain and increased flexibility. I use it a couple times a day and even took it on vacation because it is become a part of my routine as well as my wife’s routine. When I get off of it it feels like I’ve just come from an expensive massage. I’m 5’8.5 and wife is 5’ so it clearly fits all sizes. When I first purchased it I was a bit skeptical because of the price but was desperate. So happy I did because it is truly life changing. My wife was even more skeptical but now she is a convert also. We both work desk jobs and whenever we get soreness or stiffness we just hop on this and it instantly relieves our pain. This has been such a great tool and I ended up purchasing a couple for my family as gifts for the holidays. If you’re struggling to see if the price is justified, let me reassure you that it is and you should pull the trigger. Your back will thank you.
