Best loppers I've ever had. Very light weight but easily cut through branches.

We have been using these excellent loppers to remove the branches from a leylandii hedge (20 trees) about 4 metres high. These loppers slice through the live branches and though they were made of butter and the harder dead branches as though they were cheese! They are making the job a lot easier than I thought it would be - 7 down - 13 to go!

This is about my fourth pair of these, and I shall go on buying them because they are so fantastic and I would not be without them. However, for the price, they are very easily damaged, and in the rough and tumble of my rather overgrown garden I have to buy new every two or three years. This is partly my fault as there is sometimes hidden wire in hedges, and this damages the blade, of course, but it certainly damages these rather more so than other tools I have. For all that, they are an absolute must-have for me. They are so light and so sharp, and they really do make life a lot easier.

These are very light which is good but also quite lightweight. We have had ours for a year and used them In our small garden. Recently they became quite stiff and stopped cutting so well. I bought a genuine Fiskars replacement blade to see if that would improve performance but when I took them apart found that the reason they had stopped cuttting is because the cast aluminum lower part of the jaw had snapped. As a consequence it was pushing on , and had cracked, part of the plastic gearing teeth, and that in turn meant the jaws no longer fully closed. These are too expensive to last only 12 months. I now see from other people’s posts that this is a common problem and clearly a design fault - shame as Fiskars generally are one of the better garden tool manufacturers.

Good quality loppers. Light in weight,easy to use. Obviously you have to open the arms wide to cut the largest branches of it's capacity, this may be restrictive in some cases. Prices vary on the web you need to trawl a bit for the best. I was pleased with my purchase and the geared principle of the loppers is a boon. I would recommend them to others although a bit pricey!

Absolutely brilliant. Light weight with an amazing cutting ability. Have more than one Fiskars product and would not use any other makes.

Not the cheapest but Fiskar loppers the best for me.

I already have Fiskars loppers (they're great) and bought these as a gift. I thought I'd bought the same set, but I was surprised to find the handles and gears on these are some kind of composite, not metal. This makes them very lightweight, but they don't look very durable to me, especially knowing the hammer my own loppers get! I would have preferred an all-metal assembly. Other reviews show the metal jaws failing before the handles, so they should be okay. But, I would have liked the construction materials to be better specified in the product info.

Very sharp and easy to use

Il troncarami è molto leggero con i manici a lunghezza fissa in fibra di vetro ma, con le sue lame e il sistema a denti che aumenta il braccio di leva , tagliare i rami anche di discrete dimensioni (30-35 mm di diam.) senza fatica. I rami del fico, verdi, grossi come possono entrare tra le lame, non li sente nemmeno. Le lame sono in acciaio e solo quella con il tagliente è rivestita con un prodotto antifrizione (tipo teflon), quella ad uncino che serve per tenere fermo il ramo è rettificata sulle due facce opposte. Nos enfants viennent d'emménager dans une maison avec un jardin : voilà une bonne source d'idée de cadeaux ! Ainsi , pour Noël , ils auront un Rotogrif et un bec de corbeau , entre autres douceurs . Notre coupe-branches Fiskars nous sert depuis des années à entretenir la haie , à nettoyer les rosiers et il coupe toujours aussi nettement . Nous avions choisi le modèle de cette taille pour plus de maniabilité et de légèreté . Celui que nous avons reçu hier présente les mêmes lames de bon aloi , seul changement une des mâchoires initialement en aluminium est désormais en plastique . Nous avons lu les commentaires d'autres utilisateurs qui sont très contents depuis pas mal de temps et avec un emploi apparemment enthousiaste et fréquent . Avec une réduction de 20% actuellement , nous nous sommes donc décidés et sommes satisfaits de notre choix .
