With a few changes in the design (1 in particular) this would be a very good product. Just put something in place to keep long spring from falling out while trying to install. That would be great. However after getting it all put back together and the door ready for install it works fine!

This wasca perfect fit to replace the handle that fell on my patio door. I didn't want to have drill new screw holes. This was exactly the same hole spacing and it comes with several different length screws to accommodate different door thicknesses.

This product needs better install instructions, I would never send customers such a difficult product to install I am sending back for refund, will come out better buying new door with lock. such a headache.

Loved the color and shape of the handle. Read all directions 3x and watched the video a few times. Measured multiple times before ordering. Got the handle on the door. Looked great. Would not latch to lock the door. After multiple try’s we bought a new patio door. Darn.

Our handle on our patio door broke. We searched Amazon and ordered this with a lock and key! It was easy for my husband to replace and works great! Anderson patio door.

I don’t agree with other reviews about the quality of this lock. Once it is installed it is secure and looks great. However, this product comes with zero instructions and what little instructions are included on the ad page itself are not enough to help you. I spent about 6 hours over 2 days trying to get this lock to work right. I had to remove and reinstall it countless times to figure out what the problem was. I’m honestly still not sure what I did to solve it, I just kept fiddling with the pieces. I eventually got there but it was way harder than it needs to be and should include detailed instructions about the positioning of the pieces. Additionally, on the ad it says to be careful not to mess with the integrity of the internal mechanism when installing. Due to the design it is impossible not to have the pieces fall out during installation and then you just have to guess where they’re supposed to go back in. Very time consuming process to say the least.

It was missing the part the lock slides into?? I have extra parts and not the actual part that screws to the frame that the lock latches into! Sort of useless. Will return.
