I got this for my sons birthday and he loved it, it was easy for him to switch back and forth. The size is great for many ages and it’s very sturdy so you don’t have to worry about it breaking. I wish it would’ve had a noise feature but overall it’s a great toy for any fan of the movie.

My, almost 6 year old, waited patiently for this transformer to arrive. He picked this one as a reward for a good report card and it was an excellent choice. He has a bunch of other transformers, however some are a little more advanced and cause him some frustration. This smash change one is a great option for little ones new to transformers or 5 year olds who tend to get frustrated with the ones with more steps. This one isn’t necessarily super easy, but it provides the perfect amount of a challenge. Very durable as it’s been smashed several times this evening and no parts click off like with the other transformer products. This was a little more expensive than the normal transformers, but I think it’s worth it and the quality seems much nicer. And again, no parts that pop off and can be lost. Great for about age 5 and up in my opinion.

It's a decent toy. The 3 transformations steps from robot to ape can be done in almost any order. The glitch is when you 'smash' it down on a hard surface to convert from ape to robot. You have to hold it kind of oddly to transform while smashing it. Sometimes it takes more than 3 smashes, sometimes 2. Kids might get a kick out of it, but then may grow bored because there's not much to do with it other than smash. Not very posable. Kids may also grow frustrated with the inconsistent transformation.

I bought these as inexpensive prizes for my kids. I felt like this was a better value than a happy meal toy. The kids have not had any trouble transforming them and the detailing is good for the price. These are probably best for age 5 and up since they are pretty lightweight and don’t look like they are for rough play.

Good gimmick toy for a young transformer lover. Good quality toy which transforms very easily.

Mi hijo ama este transformar, pero definitivamente es para un niño más grande. Mi niño tiene 4 y si le cuesta transformarlo. Pero la calidad es muy buena y además no es tan pequeño.

Delivery was fast and within the delivery time. My son was delighted when it also came with a free gift of transformer stationery including tattoos.
