Pi is just fine, some add-ons not so
Ordered this as an Xmas present for my son - pi works fine, but some of the additional items do not fit (eg buttons do not fit into the breadboard), so some functionality 'lost' without spending more on additional expansion kit.

Well thought-out kit and I totally agree with the description of 'Ultimate Starter Kit'For me, it was a great starter kit as I came from absolutely NO knowledge of the Raspberry Pi and decided to 'have a go' and find out what it's all about!This was exactly what I hoped it would be - a comprehensive package of the latest RPi hardware, lots of components, idiot-proof get-up-and-go Operating System, projects, software downloads.... I needed nothing else to launch myself into this amazing world of Raspberry Pi... still only treading water and learning the basics but I have everything I need so far in this kit.Totally recommended, a good price and I love it!

Excellent box of tricks for the beginner
Not knowing anything about the Raspberry Pi, I went ahead and bought this kit a few months ago. There is an amazing amount of stuff in the box and it's all useful (agree about the two buttons not fitting into the breadboard, though). That aside, I'd recommend this to anyone taking their first steps in learning about, not just the Raspberry Pi, but electronics in general.
