My Favorite Bag -- Easy Open and Close, Large Enough and Fine Enough for Most Any Use,
This is my favorite media bag of the several I've bought and tried. I particularly like the velcro closure seal. The fact that the bags are larger than most should not be a problem, as any unused portion of a bag can be folded over and tucked wherever it is convenient. And, the size allows you to spread the media enough to fill whatever area you want. Charcoal, of course, should always be rinsed a lot to get rid of inevitable tiny dust particles. I then pour the charcoal in the filter and I'm good to go, knowing that the fineness of the bag is going to minimize any particles getting through to clog subsequent polishing filters. After a month or so it is an easy task to empty the charcoal, rinse the bag and use it for whatever media you desire.

Great bag at a great price
This product is as advertised and priced fairly. I am very happy with my purchase, let me explain.1. Nylon bags resist algae growth.2. Bag is nice and large for plenty of product, great for large aquariums.3. Tear resistant, I have Biomedia in one bag and with shifting and move around the bag has maintained its leak proof design.4. Good enough for the smallest of media. I have one bag with Purigen/matrix carbon and it contains the product.5. Comes three bags at a time. These are the best bags I have come across in thirty years of reef keeping.

Perfect alternative for the Seachem 100 micron bag...much cheaper with same quality.
Awesome stuff, 300 microns allow my Seachem Purigen to stay intact and the Velcro allows for easy media cleanup and removal. You get 3 bags instead of one bag for the Seachem bag at 9 dollars a bag, so economically the Pura bags make much more sense.I bought the 250ml Purigen and was able to use 3 bags for 3 of my filters for 13 bucks instead of 27 bucks if I want to go with the Purigen bags.Local fish stores do not have fine mesh bags more than 100 microns. So win win all the way.

I got these for my Purigen and they work wonderfully. I have a canister filter so I sewed a circle in the bag and cut it out to line up with the tube in the filter baskets and used it for my charcoal as well. It's fine enough to keep all the tinier charcoal pieces from falling out but still allows good water flow. The bags fit the baskets nicely with only a little fold over on the long end. The velcro closure is nice and tight. Very nice product.

Holds Purigen.
It holds Seachem Purigen. The velcro closure seems like a bad idea and the construction of the bag isn't top notch, but they work. Longevity could be an issue, but you get three. I have a spare one.Fits good inside a AC 110. Probably too big for any HOB smaller, although you can fold it up. Probably better suited for larger canisters.

Great price!
I use these in my canister filter for my media--peat and lava rock. The bags work great. The bags are longer than I need. I knew this when I bought them but some people might be picky about the bag not fitting into the canister perfectly. They seal with a strong velcro closure. I don't know if this is standard in the industry, but it works.

Durable and versatile.
Suitable for all kinds of media, and works well.I'm using it with Purigen, and unlike many other bags, these bags hold it securely, so that you don't find lots of little white globules hanging around in your aquarium. For the price, it's a very reasonable product indeed.

Worked perfectly!
Bought these to use a larger quantity of purigen in my eheim 2217. The bags are good quality and are small enough to hold in the tiny purigen particles. Good price compared to seachem's "the bag" and I would buy again.
