When you don't want to just WATCH the movie, you want to EXPERIENCE it.
I bought the BenQ TH671ST in the 2020, in the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was my attempt at restoring some sense of control and normality to my family. It was, and remains the best purchase I made during that time period. This projector is a workhorse and continues to provide a great entertainment experience for me and my family.Video: Video is amazing. Movies, Series, and Games all look great on it. I'm very happy with the quality of the image and it's brightness. Menu has variety of options for color, brightness, and positioning that should help you get the perfect image you want for your setup.Audio: The onboard audio is impressive, I have a smaller living room so it fills it up nicety. I have opted to stick with the onboard audio as I never have to push it beyond 40-60% max volume.Durability: I've had this projector since 2020, about 4 years now and nothing has had to be replaced or fixed. I do occasional cleaning/dusting, but that's it. The lamp has stayed strong and bright. I'm able to watch movies during the day, with lights on, or at night. It always looks great, regardless.Overall: This is an amazing projector to upgrade your movie/gaming experience. I highly recommend it. I have a lot of faith in BenQ after this projector. In the future, I'll be looking at this brand when I eventually upgrade to 4K projection.

Best price-point projector
I have this and a motorized screen in a VERY bright room full of big windows. Use the BRIGHT picture mode for daytime viewing and it works just fine if there is a sports game on. I use cinema or vivid modes when it gets dark. Picture quality is superb! Sharp, undistorted and accurate colors. Super happy and I did a TON of research and comparisons before buying this projector.

Practical portable theatre with fantastic picture and compatibility
Affordable portable theatre. Power on, attach source(s) select cinema mode for picture. I have designated tvs for both bedroom and living room surround systems, but wanted a screen to match the sound (living room is a circa 2013 55” lg3d tv and 3dsurround system still holding on looking and sounding great, (6” sub shakes the house, I don’t understand it, but it does) and bedroom has a polk magnifi max (1st gen with satellite speakers, and the base is unrelenting with the 10” sub, heard the magnifi max system has improved) all I do is unplug the tv from either system and plug this projector into the tv HDMI on the receiver/sound bar) in the bedroom I installed a manual 110” elite screens pulldown (priced at about $113) in living I use an outdoor portable elite screens yard master type screen by Jwsit (120”), will probably get something a little sleeker and portable for the living room. I needed portability and short throw so I first tried the $1200 optoma gt2000hdr short throw, which oddly struggled to find the source and also was grayish blue regardless of picture mode when it finally recognized the source, could’ve been a lemon, but I had read of similar complaints after researching. Both viewing areas and constraints require short throw for portability and placement. Yes I could go standard or long but I don’t want a projector suspended above my head as I sleep and I love the versitility and compatibility. It is as described, I do full optical zoom to attain ~100” at about 5’ projection distance. I am pleased.

It's been a couple years and still impressive
Attached is pictures, with lights on and then in the dark. Even with the lights on it's a strong picture. In person it looks better than the picture shows.Movies/TV, depends on your source. The better the source the better the image. But overall an awesome picture.Short throw, I have mine 5ft full zoom = 100" screen. I have my couch 9.5ft from the screen. Anything bigger I catch the rainbow effect. The awesome thing is, kids and most adults can be in front of the project about 3ft from the screen standing up and it does effect the screen with the person shadow. Which is always my thing I show off when I demonstrate this projector to my friends.Games, I don't notice lag, and it's super fun to play games on such a huge screen.Noise, barely notice especially when a movie or game is on.I have this projecting on the wall with no screen. Everyone thinks I have a screen until I point it out. Edges are sharp enough to fool people to think I have a screen.Would I buy again, absolutely.. I think this was the best bang for the buck, and watching the new and better versions coming out... I still think this competes well! This projector has created a lot of memories and I can't wait to create so many more!

Wow! Don’t settle, this is better
The media could not be loaded. Ordered 2 Vankyo units before ordering this BENQ short throw high brightness model. The first Vankyo was a dud and the 2nd was ok but lagged on Mario Kart. So we upgraded to this short throw legend. Man oh man is the picture on this great. The brightness is incredible (especially compared to the $2-300 Vankyos) and the color really pops. Sound is more than adequate for a normal sized room. Projector is bright enough to be used with pretty high amounts of ambient light. The brightness is enough that it just looks like a 100+ inch backlight screen. Has a handy zoom feature and 2 leveling screws/legs that makes placing the unit a breeze. Gaming was super smooth with no noticeable lag.The budget projectors are ok for the occasional back yard movie but the experience feels like your giving up a lot for the extra screen size. With this model you get the size with no quality loss. Really a game changer couldn’t be happier with purchase.

Was given a USED product. When I bought a NEW
This was supposed to be a NEW product. The projector did NOT come with a remote. There was also a random Manual for a screen which is NOT part of this product. Once we connected it to see if it worked the lamp light was red and would NOT turn on. Very unpleasant purchase experience.
