I have a large number of Raspberry Pi systems, and finding a case that is both well designed and effective at cooling can be surprisingly difficult. This case comes very close to being perfect. The aluminum construction feels solid and well made, and the passive cooling design does an excellent job of dissipating heat without adding fan noise. Installation was straightforward, and the finished result looks clean and professional. I have tried many Raspberry Pi cases over the years, and this is one of the best I have used. I love, love, love this case! The case is its own heat sink and it dissipates heat from the unit without needing a fan. Because there is no cooling fan, this case is completely silent. It is very small/compact, and installation of the Raspberry Pi board is quick and simple. The case seems very solid and the value for the money is excellent. The case itself does not include a power supply. You simply plug in your Raspberry Pi power adapter through the provided hole and you are ready to rock and roll. I had other cases for my Raspberry Pi but I love the simplicity and aesthetics of this one so much that I moved my Pi board to this case. All future Pi's of mine will be using this case. Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend this case for your Raspberry Pi.

Solid case, fits Raspberry Pi 4 perfectly. Compact, sleek and stylish. I use it for Home Assistant and the case gets warm but not hot. No thermal concerns. Something I didn't take into account is the wireless signal. I love the case but it does put a damper on the wifi signal if you use wireless connections. Besides that I love the look and feel of this case and if you use this on a desk with ethernet plug it is fantastic. No one else has such a good looking design with the passive heatsink top. Worth the price, and cooling is working well to keep my jellyfin server alive and in the low 50 degrees.

Great heat dissipation. I ran several stress tests using "stress" and "glxgears" on the system but never got the CPU much over 60°C. The Pi 4 has a hard throttle down point at 80°C but begins some throttling around 60°C. I use another all aluminum heatsink on my Pi 3, but that hits 75°C under heavy stress. The case looks really good. Tolerances are pretty tight--far better than any plastic case I've seen. On the case I received there is a bit a marring on the edges between the two halfs. The flat surfaces are mostly defect free and I only observed a couple of imperfections. All the marks took place prior to anodizing and are thus fairly hidden unless one looks closely. This Pi 4 will be part of a demo to a client and I feel the case is going to look good for this presentation. The rubber feet are a good touch to keep the device from sliding around. It would be nice if there were some kind of additional mounting option, like standoffs, that would allow the Pi to be mounted on something. However, the case is aluminum so drilling and tapping your own holes is an option and one I might pursue. My only complaint is that one of the screws was stripped out. My guess is an electric screw driver was used to put the screw in and stripped the aluminum threads on the case. The three remaining screws were fine however. The SD card also rather difficult to access. It inserts easily, but removing it can be more challenging. All said, I will likely be buying this case for future Pi projects.

The case fits well and the included heat transfer pads seem to work well. It’s quiet but the case does get pretty hot. Very easy to install and it looks great!

fits my pi4 just fine. got 4 of them. 3 fit perfect. one the screw next to the ethernet just wouldn't seat, lttle bit of widening the hole and it worked. took a bit to figure out which sticker pad thickness to use. i would up doing the cpu first, put halves together, then take apart and look if pad imprinted from touching the foot. does what it should, whole case warms up as a heat sink, pi runs about max 10C higher than ambient now, nice. i used a band saw to cut out the top case above the gpio pins on one i use for prototyping. there is a slot for using a ribbon cable to outboard the gpio i just wanted direct acces to the pins.

I have bought two cases and this is because I believe the quality to be good and my experience in running a Raspberry Pi 4 24/7 (not over clocked) is that it performs well. There are some other cases that get good reviews at double the price that I have not tried; however, since this works so well I have not taken that step. What would make it better would be a separate compatible case that could be screwed to it that held a 2.5" drive (would need separate power as even with SSDs the Raspberry Pi 4 seems to have power issues). I believe that now one can get the Raspberry Pi 4 to boot from SSD and abandon the SD card, this would make a reliable machine with dependable cooling (my experience in running the pi 24/7 is that the SD card is the weak link).

Concernant la température, elle est équivalente à une solution avec ventilateur par exemple, sauf que la réparation de la chaleur est dissipée sur toute la surface du boîtier, ce qui évite les "points chauds" extrême. 2 petites Leds discrètes indiquent le fonctionnement du Pi 4b. Mon meilleur investissement Raspberry Pi. Oui un peut cher par rapport au autres boîtier, mais qualité incomparable ! Vous avez la sensation d'un objet bien fini une fois assemblé.

Extremely good case. It dissipates heat like advertised, looks awesome and is extremely compact. I have been using this ever since I got my Raspberry Pi 4 half a year ago and it's been hosting various services flawlessly and this case is the reason it stays cool.
