Pop Up Sponges 10 pk

I really like these cellulose sponges and they are nice and absorbent for keeping the countertop clean in my kitchen. I am surprised to see so many folks complaining about the size of these sponges: mine are 1 inch thick!!!I use about one each month cleaning kitchen countertops and scouring sinks.I support products derived from natural sources rather than petrolium distillates (basically, main ingredient in plastic, polyester, etc.-yecch!!) These sponges are made from plant fiber cellulose, are safely disposable and not expensive. Plus they are made in France: oooh la la!!!

These sponges are comparable in quality to those available from cook/kitchenware outlets.Thanks to that comparable quality, the reasonableness of their cost (compared to those others) makes them a decent buy overall.These are the larger ones; so about the size of a three by five inch index card.

They do biodegrade after some time, and thats good because it proves that it is truly natural.I think the size is appropriate,If I were to need bigger sponges then at the pharmacy I can get regular sponges that of course are not natural and biodegradable.If pore size is not consistent is because this is a more natural product.Again if you want something with a synthetic color and feeling and bigger size then do a search and you can find easily something else.If you want natural stuff then be open minded about imperfection on shape and color.

These are good quality sponges but I have a problem with the size. They are too small for any household use. I did find another size in this sponge once that was a little larger and more suitable for general use but I never find them anywhere again. All the upscale stores sell these little sponges, I guess the flattened idea is a draw, but never in the larger size. The size I usually expect in a sponge is about 3 1/2 X 5. These little guys are about 3 X 3 3/4.

I recently purchased the EZ Brite pop-up sponges sold by SB Natural Products.. I was very annoyed when these flimsy, thin, sponges arrived.. They picture is deceiving and the product description is wrong. They are very thin, only 1/2 " not the 1" as written, a bad bad product. I am in the process of returning them and getting a full refund, a total rip off for the price. I would do much better at Zabar's in NYC for both quality and price. Furthermore, this item is not returned with a pre paid label. You have to get a receipt and call it in to the customer service reps at Amazon, another reason NOT to use this company or buy their products..

These sponges are too small for use in the kitchen or bathroom for cleaning up. They are not thick enough when expanded.I have been using these French sponges for many years due to their high quality. The price of EZ Brite attracted me. However, it turns out that "Cheap is dear!" Additionally, the picture shown for the item is very misleading. It looks as though there are two sizes which there is not, and it is not that thick. In the future, I will purchase them from either Williams Sonoma or Trader Joe, who sell the correct size.

These sponges are not like the ones in the grocery store! They are strong and thick. Fantastic for scrubbing. I launder them when they need it and continue to use them. I prefer the smaller one because it fits my hand better. Make cleaning so much easier. Will be purchasing more to put in our long-term storage and to give some to my mother. She loved them too.

These could be a little larger but they work great. clean better than an ordinary sponge and come back to newer after a run in the dishwasher
