Sony ICF-C1B Clock Radio (LED Display, Alarm)

The hum that this unit emits is so loud as to make it completely unusable. It is not hum while the radio is on. It is permanent power supply induced hum. And this is not a one-off, or a bad unit - a very high proportion of them are like this. Either they are poorly designed, or poorly built, or both. I don't know what's happened to Sony as a company, but this is not the only example of poor Sony product that I've seen recently.

Exactly what I was after, easy to use & set the alarm. Nice tidy size too.

It loses the radio station during the night, so when the radio alarm goes off in the morning, you hear crackling at best. I've slept in a few times with this. Don't rely on it

Have had this for a while. Absolutely diabolical. Clock has gained and can’t be corrected and with change in time has remained at British Summertime and now have a clock showing an hour too fast and wrong minutes. Crap!

This is not an easy clock to set, in fact I bought it a while ago and my husband put it in the drawer I have found it and thought I would have ago, can’t set anything and can’t find the instructions it is not easy, and I’m not stupid. So I’m not putting it in the drawer I’m putting it in the bin…….. grrrrr

We found that this model not only does not receive radio stations, now that the clocks have changed, it is impossible to change the time. It has been useless since we bought it.

The Product title is somewhat misleading. THIS IS NOT A DAB RADIO at all, and furthermore, the product was supplied with a two pin plug with no UK adapter.

Este es el modelo sencillo, una sola alarma, no se puede apagar en automático los fines de semana, hay que apagar la alarma manualmente. Se pone en hora solo y se ajusta automáticamente al horario de verano, no hace ningún ruido extraño como ponen algunas opiniones. La radio se oye muy bien y el volumen del despertador lo ajustas tu. Funcionamiento simple, intuitivo, justo lo que se necesita para despertarse a diario. La calidad precio me parece buena, sobretodo por la confianza que da un producto sony.
