It's very solid, has a very nice heft, a base to which it attaches to securely-also which includes a bright Glow-In-the-Dark marker, and, well, is Pink so my wife loves it! Like I said before, I've never used it for either of its intended purposes, but have used it to cut all sorts of things. It cuts through rope like a hot knife through butter and excels at taking off zip ties(no more having to use a knife to either have it jump towards your face or making a scratch) and my wife uses it all the time to open our kids toys or whatever are in those insane-to-open hard plastic packages while on the road when the kids just can't wait to get home to play with the toys. My wife had an original orange one, but just wasn't into it, so I got her this one and she actually enjoys having in her car.
