The pieces just clip nto one another.Therefore, it's excellent for fine motor skills. The pieces are large, but not too large and any age and any gender can have fun with it. The colours are very bright. Very young children could learn their colours from playing with this toy. Excellent quality and very sturdy and very well made too. When not in use, its stored in a large tub with a carrying handle. Great value for money.

This is a fab toy - great fun for kids (and us adults!) and good to know it’s encouraging spatial awareness and imagination at same time. What’s also really good is the literally unlimited potential for building different designs. Great value and would highly recommend. Delivery was very quick too.

This is such a great product. I bought it for my 6 year old niece and she absolutely loves it. She makes up her own designs at the moment, so it's great because she's using her imagination and being naturally creative. There is an instruction booklet and I've even looked up the website given in the booklet, and there are loads of videos showing how to do more complicated designs, so this will be great for her when she's a little older. Comes in a sturdy jar with handle, so great packaging too.

This is an amazing alternative to lego building blocks. Requires a bit more imagination to create something out of it but the colors enchance the stimulus the kids get. One pack has more than enough flowers to create a handful of shapes but you can always get a second or combide it with a different set of building blocks.

This is a great open ended toy. Children enjoyed using the ideas in the booklet and making their own designs. Enough in the pot to make good big structures. These are robust and good quality. Better than another brand we have which feel flimsy in comparison. Arrived fast.

Had these for a few years now. They get everywhere but are great for a quiet activity. Quite hard to press together and break apart. Suitable for 4 years plus I’d say. Makes them use their imagination / problem solving / etc. Top tip - lay down a blanket or something first to help with the clear up!!

The flakes are sturdy and so easy to clip them together to create endless designs. My little nieces really enjoyed using their imagination to create patterns and shapes. The storage jar is great and the 500 pieces is great for several kids to enjoy. A winner all round.
