Really Looks Like Linen
I was doing a project for an event for a non-profit educational organization created by descendants of Holocaust survivors. They wanted "passeports" as part of their visuals. I used these laminating sheets on the covers to make them look more real and help them stand up to being passed around and touched. Much nicer result than regular laminating sheets. About the same to work with. Relatively expensive but not off the chart.

Amazong
I used these laminate sheets for sticker. They are so high quality. They worked great for my Cricut. And super sticky.

Works well
These sheets came in handy when doing our garden plans last year. I will use them again this year too. They are simple to use and lasted all season.

These are decent laminating sheets. They work as their supposed to, nothing fancy. But they do the job.

Tricky to apply
These adhere well and seem to offer durable protection, but it is really hard to get them on without bubbles.

love the 3D effect
These are textured holographic self laminating sheets. I have used it for several pictures to get the holographic effect and it works wonderfully. I love the texture. You have to be very careful to have your picture lined up. It gives the pictures a 3D effect

Laminated Photos
For my experiment with this product, I chose to laminate two photos I have currently displayed. I also laminated a random piece of paper. The first photo shows how curled this 55 years old photo had become. It is a part of a collage of my memories that hangs on a frame. But frequently I have found it on the floor because the removable glue dots I use to attach it to the frame no longer have the strength to keep it flat and in place. The other picture is one of many I have on a clip style photo frame. Since it is my kitchen, it had gotten some spots on it from unknown sources of food. My goal was to hopefully protect these pictures. The curled photo was a challenge to put it down smoothly. I chose to curl the picture opposite of its current tendency and lay the middle down first and smooth it out after I had it laid into position. So many bubbles! I tediously lifted the LLaama laminating film in small sections and smoothed it down as I worked section by section. Fewer bubbles. I could not move them to the edge using either a brayer or a piece of plastic for this purpose. Eventually, I had to insert a needle into each bubble and then smooth it out. I repeated the process on the backside. My hope was that having a strong laminate on both sides would reduce the curling. The second picture I included shows that the curl has been reduced but not totally removed. The photo with the laminate is now laying under many pounds of pressure with a bunch of books on top. It may never lay flat, but that is not the laminating papers fault. The next photo I put the Llama laminating film on required the same steps as the other one I did. Again I was able to lift the film up slightly and smooth out the large bubbles as I went along. Then I needed to go back over the laminate to pop small bubbles with a needle. On both of my photos, you cannot see any trace of bubbles or where I poked a needle into the film; this I believe is due to the "leather look" of the film. I will also add that I did not put the laminate on the back of my second photo; I just didn't feel it was necessary to protect this specific photo on both sides. Finally, I just took a small piece of paper and laminated it. The process was much easier than with the pictures. But then I thought If that had been a full sheet of paper, would I be able to lift the film off and work with any bubbles like I had with my photos? I was able to lift off a section of the film and replace it easily back onto the paper. I really thought paper might tear, but it did not.I thought I would really like the leather look of this film, but I am not sure that I do for the photo projects I chose. If I had to do it again, I would choose a clear matte finish for them. The leather looks great on the paper to me.

Don’t bother with these self lamination sheets
These self lamination sheets are horrible! Unless you plan to laminate small items (ie: business card), they bubble, it’s poor quality and super time consuming. Save your money and buy a laminator or get it done properly. I wasted my money and will need to re-laminate everything and throw out what I tried to laminate with this. The dollar store has the same sheets for cheaper if you really want to DIY.

Terrible
Be better buying drawer liners or sticker vinyl
