King ArthurFlour Pancake Mix, Gluten Free, 15-ounces

So yummy! I also tried making waffles but this is best suited for pancakes! They have a slight 'maple syrup' smell & flavour which I like. The pancakes are so light & fluffy. The only downside is that they have to come all the way from the US as they aren't sold here. The box was a bit bashed but the contents of the inner bag were still intact.

My son-in-law needs to eat gluten free foods because of his intolerance to all things gluten. One of his favorite foods is pancakes, and my daughter was making gluten free pancakes from scratch. They were almost tasteless but he ate them. My granddaughter would eat them with applesauce, but only because she loves applesauce. And, then, one day, I brought King Arthur Flour gluten free pancake mix to their house. He loves these pancakes, and now he buys the mixes 3-4 at a time.For a short period of time the gluten free pancake mix was short of supply. They were so popular, it was difficult to find the mix in most grocery stores. I would go to the King Arthur store to purchase as many boxes of pancake mix as I could. They could see me coming after awhile.The pancakes are easy to make, eggs, butter and milk, and the mix. Prepare the mix, drop1/4 cup of mix onto a hot griddle. Wait until there are bubbles around the edge if the pancake, then flip them over, golden brown perfect pancakes. These are often much better tasting than regular pancakes. Definitely the best of the pancake mix out there. I had this mailed to my mother's house for Christmas so we didn't have to remember to pack it. We also brought it when we traveled and stayed with friends because they are fluffy and delicious, and even people who don't have to eat GF will love them (as long as they're fresh, they get hard when they refrigerate). We bought this on amazon when we weren't living near any good grocery stores, but now we moved to the city and have access to real grocery stores, so I don't pay amazon prices for pancake mix anymore. Hope you can get this stuff at the store for cheaper, but if not, don't bother with the other brands; pay more and get it here!

I ordered this pancake mix because I recently found out I am sensitive to gluten. I thought I'd have to go without, being a King Arthur flour devotee I had to give them a try and found them to be delicious. The first words out of my 11yo mouth was that they didnt taste like regular pancakes, which is true, much in the same way that a brownie is different than a chocolate cake, however, these pancakes are delicious and I will buy them again - so much better than going without.

I was spoiled using mix that one has to just add water to so it was hit and miss getting batter prepared as I had to add a lot of water so it was not like concrete. I wanted to try gluten-free since I have ulcerative colitis so am changing my diet gradually. I believe I will only get a couple of meals from this mix and pancakes are very heavy so I will return to just adding water mix.

I use this mix to make waffles (the recipe is included in the back of the box) and they are so delicious, very creamy, airy, buttery! (I am making myself hungry now..) I had tired the recipe with eggs and also with egg replacement and tastes great for both.I love that is gluten free and the box makes enough for the whole weekend for my family.

The mix is of high quality, the pancakes come out great. My whole family loves the pancakes, and everyone eats them though only one child is gluten free. I use buttermilk and one would never be able to tell that these are wheat free. However, other brands work just as well but cost less.
