This product is a large, heavy duty stapler meant for applications such as carpeting, and hanging signs. It is a little too much for stapling papers together, but if you do it carefully it would probably do that well too.I am mainly using this to staple targets to plywood at the outdoor range. I also use this size staple for mounting most decorative home furnishings to the walls. It is far easier than drilling a hole, sticking an anchor in, then screwing in yet another screw, etc. I have found ways to use heavy duty staples instead.Overall the stapler works well and has not failed yet. It has enough torque to push into thick plywood, but is also delicate enough to staple paper if you push down just right on the mechanism. There are several clips of staples, but if you run out this is also a pretty standard size. It has that heavy duty look with lots of power behind the stapling but also a foolproof mechanism that doesn't seem to get stuck.
