HOLDING UP WELL SEEMS TO KEEP MORNING FOG ( MILDEW ) OFF OF MY MELONS , MAYBE IT WAS JUST THE ONE WE GOT BUT ONLY ONE SIDE WAS THICKENED WHICH CREATED A LOT MORE WORK TRYING TO DOUBLE AND STAPLE THE OTHER SIDE TO KEEP IT FROM UNRAVELING,, WE USE USED 1/4 INCH DRIP TUBING AROUND THE OUTSIDE AND IT IS FRUSTRATING TO DOUBLE THEN DOUBLE AGAIN ON THE NON THICKENED SIDE TO HELP HOLD IT DOWN OR PICK UP ONE SIDE TO PULL WEEDS UNDER IT, BUT MAYBE I JUST GOT A BAD BATCH

purchased this to put over my raised garden beds to keep out beetles. Worked perfect. Also protects plants from heavy rain beating down in them. Went back and purchased a second.

There is no way I will grow kale and not use this netting. Last year I bought this product after the cabbage moths had already set in their eggs. It kept it from getting worse. This season, the kale seedlings went into the bed and the netting was set over it right away and is never opened unless I am harvesting. I don't even take it off for watering. I spray the water through the netting and it is just fine. Knock on wood, not one leaf lost to caterpillars this season. The harvest have been great. It also works as a slight shade cloth as well taking just the littlest bit of harshness out of the sunshine. In my pic you can see I have it over two beds. One with kales and lettuces and the other over my herbs. With the herbs, I was hoping to delay bolting but that did not really work out. Either way, it keeps pests out.

I got the 4x10 to keep birds off a blueberry bush on my deck. It fit all the way around and down to the floor over one medium sized bush in a container. I held it closed with some hair clips ,clothes pins would work too. Its a light weight,see through white mesh fabric. It works better than netting to protect berries/fruit. It can be cut to size but mine was the right size out of the bag. Now we get to enjoy the blueberries instead of the birds picking them.

The netting is strong and also easy to see through to observe the growing plants. I am able to water without removing the netting by simply running water through the netting. I have also discovered that the netting will keep small rodents out of the beds.
