Excellent disks for NAS use
I use these in a Synology NAS and they are fast and reliable. They replaced a set of 4xWD Red disks that I installed 6 years ago and were just reaching end of life after 24/7 use. Good price on Amazon too.

Ho utilizzato i dischi in alcuni NAS e devo dire di aver riscontrato una durata assolutamente maggiore rispetto alla serie Western Digital RE. Al momento, dopo un utilizzo intenso e quotidiano per diversi anni all'interno di alcuni NAS, i dischi sono ancora perfettamente funzionanti e privi di problemi.

Funciona por ahora, pero hace unos ruidos un poco sospechoso..... creo que no aguantara mucho. aveces falla en la búsqueda de ficheros.

Suits my requirement
I bought two disks to be used in a two disk synology station. From day one the sound in the station was unbearable. A loud whirring noise made it impossible to sit in the same room. First, i wrongly thought it was the fan making the noise. In the Nas station diagnostics i saw one of the disk was reporting bad sectors (remember its just brand new ). after a two weeks of deliberating i removed the problematic disk and i dropped in at the local service center. Then i received a disk ( i don't know if its new or refurbished)via post. Now the noise is gone and the system operates smoothly. So things to look out for if you hear abnormal noises run disgnostics and get your hard disk replaced. Pros - serves its purpose good ascess speeds cant complain. -Warranty service was good but they can give a advanced replacement making sure our businesses are not interrupted. Cons - the new disk reported bad sector and i had to go without a disk in the "Raid" configuration during the replacement process which took just more than a week.. Thats very risky if the other disk crashes in between !
