These stars are wonderful & 10x better than the tiny ladder the pool came with (especially for someone who has had back surgery) However, all the reviews are correct. The Instructions provided are absolutely terrible. They include a black & white photo copy of the original instructions so you can’t even use the photos. They also separate the instructions for the steps & the ladder as separate pieces & they are not clear on how to connect the two. We were able to find some color instructions online & the rest we figured out through trial & error & looking at people’s reviews. So just be aware before you purchase these are not simple to put together & you will need two people / to look up color instructions for pictures.

I'm 77 years old and I don't have very good balance. Getting in and out of our above ground pool is something of a challenge. With these steps I can get in and out with ease. They are very sturdy and I'm very pleased with them. I feel they are well worth the money.

These steps are perfect for getting in and out of the swimming pool. We're older and using the A frame type steps was becoming difficult. Assembly was easy and the quality is very good. They are the perfect height for our above ground pool and they are very sturdy.

The amount of wood we needed in order to make this study made us think we should have just built a wooden one.

I would give this a zero stars if I could. This ladder is unsafe for children or adults. VERY DANGEROUS!!!! Do NOT buy!!!! The instructions are garbage, they do NOT help with setting the pool up. The pictures for showing how to put it together are black so you can not see anything. You have to just scramble around figuring it out so it will take you awhile to put together. Since this ladder requires to put sand in it, USPS won't let me return due to weight of the item. Also once it's all together you can not break it back down like when you first get it. The merchant doesn't provide a tool to pop the circle covers off without damaging the ladder. I didn't see till I was trying to return this garbage that if the stairs show use or is scratched, ect that they won't give you your money back because they request for them to recieve the item and inspect it before they decide if they will give you your money back. Had I known that before hand I would never have bought because that's a red flag. Goes to show that they sell garbage and don't honor their garbage. It's like they know no one will want this crap, and when someone doesn't like it, we have to jump through all these hoops to try and get our money back. Save yourself the headache and buy locally because buying a product like this through Amazon isn't worth the stress and hassle. I will get my money back one way or another. I also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and informing them of this matter!

This is a great addition to our pool! You can sit on the steps easily, no more getting in and wishing you could just sit down! Alot easier to get on a floaty also. Reviews noted the rails were a little wobbly, that is true. I just cut a pool noodle and slide it around the hand rails and boom! Tight secure fit! Also absolutely no issues with floating up! Sand goes inside the side panels, no need for bulky sand bags to tie it down. Cant beat the price, looks very expensive! Adjustable to attach to surrounding deck, Also this step system has high hand rails! Pay attention to that detail! No bending low to grab them! Very! Nice feature! Almost all the others show a person standing next to it, what i figured out was the height of the model! That makes the hand rails only 5 inches above the pool deck! This one is a couple of feet! Much better! Also make a note of length where you attach to deck. Most are quite short, this has longer arms, which makes it much more solid. Also allows for multiple placement positions.

Steps are great! A little worried about the handles being not as sturdy if children try and hang on them. Will have to watch and make sure they don’t.
