Drop in to a TrueNas system and picks up perfect. No driver fiddling required.

Great deal for the cost versus a NAS
Plugged it in and it was compatible and was immediately detected and it and all my disks showed up in my linux operating system. Cant get much simpler or faster for this for a cheap HBA.

No issues for TrueNas system
Was picked up without issue by TrueNas Scale on desktop grade hardware. Being used to drive a pool of SSD disks. So far, so good.

Works great
Works great on the ASUS X670E-PRO WIFI motherboard in the x4 PCIe socket (physically x16) which is the only slot I had free after installing a GPU. Research informed me that using the HBA in an x4 socket (rather than x8) would halve the bandwidth, but this turned out to be a non-issue because theoretically even 16 drives reading simultaneously will have a hard time saturating an x4 socket. True plug-n-play HBA, just worked.

Nice HBA card for UnRAID server and already in IT Mode!
I purchased this HBA card back in June for an UnRAID system I built and it has been performing well. I currently have 7 SATA drives connected to this card. The card was plug n play and already in IT mode. I simply installed the card and attached my drives. and powered up the system. All drives were instantly recognized. What I like: - Ease of installation - Value for money - Speed - Compatibility What I dislike: - N/A

hassle free setup & works great with TrueNAS
the HBA works great! All 8 drives are connected at 6Gbps and great throughput on all drives. Only thing missing would be 8 LEDs to show individual drive access
