Q: In one spot you say it is waterproof; in another you say it's just waterproof material. Which is it? Will water get in if it is submerged?

Thanks for asking. The material is waterproof but the zippers and seams are not. It is not a dry bag and will get wet if submerged. But it can handle a little rain or setting it down in a puddle.

Q: Is the bag machine washable/what are the washing instructions?

It is not machine washable. The material is thick and waterproof so it is too tough for a machine. I recommend hand washing with water and a gentle soap. Or just take it outside and hose it down.

Q: can the 2 straps be hidden zipped in for check-in purposes?

While they can’t be hidden, you can tuck them u set the duffel bag handles and cinch everything down. Just traveled to Orcas Island a couple weeks ago on multiple flights and bad still looks new.

Q: i see no warranty or anything so you not have one? also what is the weight capacity of this.it looks like it could make a great field/range bag!

Thanks for asking! Glad you noticed we didn't have the warranty info. We will get that added. We have a 2 year warranty against defects. We haven't tested weight capacity like we do load bearing equipment. But it will be able to haul a lot. The fabric is super durable. Probably couldn't drag a load of concrete but will be able to handle all your outdoor gear.
