Iffy, but cheap so Buy more than one.
My first one broke after about a month. So I reordered a few more. My new others one seems to still be working after 2 months, but I honestly can't even tell because I have multiple jets in my new setup. It does seem to work well when it's working. The suction feature also helps and sticks great. The noise seems minimal, I barely notice unless I'm close. Well, the ones that break start making loud noises before dying. I have to turn it off and hit it a few times to get it going. Then it makes loud noises again before going quiet again. Will work for a day then die again. Also it might just randomly get nasty and loud for a bit.I think when it runs when the water gets too low then that is really an issue. It always messes up when the water gets low so you gotta watch or end up buying more.In the future I'll probably have to order a higher quality pump and hope that one holds up better. It might be just because it's so small. Might be hard to make it better, idk. I kind of want it to last a year at least. Not fun undoing the setup to replace.

Viable replacement for IM desktop media reactor
This is a usable replacement for the Innovative Marine Minimax Pro Series Media Reactor (Desktop). It's a little tighter fit than the original but appears to be usable for the frequent failing mini pumps used on these.

water flow control switch never worked
These usually last a year so we shall see if this one does. For the amount of money that's ok. However this one never had a flow control that worked, no matter where the switch is placed it's always on high which leads to way too much splashing and water out of the fountain and all over

Great pumps
Came here by way of SerpaDesign on YouTube. Figured I'd try to make a couple of the self watering mini moss walls he did on his channel with these. That seemed like a fairly quick and easy place to get into the hobby. I see why he likes these. They're super quiet, the cords are easy to splice & re-connect as they have ridges on one side, and they're great if all you're doing is building a tiny moss wall in a Target bathroom bin. Having fitting options in a pump this tiny is an added value as well. I liked the results so much that I'm currently ordering two more. at this rate I'll have a couple in every room of my home. LOL.
