Q: Can this be made or swapped out for shoe material for customization

I definitely would NOT use this for footwear. It's more of a Halloween costume/ theater drape/ display case type material. It's heavy and very stretchy. Look for canvas or leather for shoes.

The width is 60" wide and I have as many yards that you need.Thank you

Q: would it make a good valance (short curtain)?

Personally, I would say no. I think it is a little heavy for that but then I used it to make velvet pumpkins. I guess if you were really careful cutting it and sewing it so it hung straight it would work but the stretching in it makes that difficult.

Q: Would this be good to make baby head wrap out of ?

I used my fabric to cover an ottoman and I also use it to make a head wrap so it would work to make a turban !
